I think he'll average closer to 50 than to his current average. Gut feel though and Cotric could do the same!

I've gone with RTS. Can see him getting a big score or two between now and the end of the year.

It's not an invalid team, just a man short. It is fantasty coach after all. If you have no CTR's and no trades may be thats a suitable outcome. Or you could play ET at hooker.

Where would that player go then? They can't just get deleted.

You'd have someone not available to be selected in centres, sitting in your centres. Making your team invalid.
I guess you're saying that the invalid player stays there and scores zero, but like I said earlier, the system isn't set up to deal with that or trading around it (eg; you make a trade, but then decide to roll back your team but it won't let you because you're trying to put someone who is only WFB into your centres).

I finally decided on my trades, only to find I'm $2k short. And because they were so awesome now nothing else seems appealing at all.
I feel like this week is make or break for me and I don't know what I should do. Go hard and leave myself without many trades fit the last few weeks, or play it safe and hope everyone else sucks this week too?

James avg 54.6 x 9 rounds = 491.4
Fifita avg 56.8 x 8 rounds = 454.4
Disclosure: James going through a bright purple patch and some mystery surrounding Fifita's minutes.

Haha, exactly the same issue for me. I'm stuck with Harris for the long haul now. I'm hoping he comes back asap like wolverine.
Good luck! I hope you win it (if I dont..)

I'm not ruling out getting Fifi later and having both

Go hard mate. Better to be in front hoping for luck than chasing hoping for luck.zorasdomain wrote:I finally decided on my trades, only to find I'm $2k short. And because they were so awesome now nothing else seems appealing at all.

Thanks mate. Good luck to you too. It's tough deciding whether to burn out by going hard or fade away by playing safe.Verbal Kint wrote:

I always look at a players 3 game average as it's a better indication of his current form. I did an exercise where I compared all my players year average against their 3 game average.
Fifita year average = 56.4 - last 3 game average = 44.7 - so there's quite a dramatic drop of -11.7.
This indicated to me that he is playing less minutes & his knee is affecting him.
If you do the same exercise for James:
James year average = 54.6 - last 3 game average = 84.3- so there's a big increase of 29.7
This is due to tries, playing big minutes & most importantly playing in the frf. If he gets moved back to the 2fr his scores drop. And James doesn't need a try to go big because he has shown he can make 50 tackles & run 100m per game easily with big minutes.

Realistically it's probably only the top five with a chance of catching you. Go over their teams and try to match them for numbers this week, it'll take a bit of guesswork but you should get pretty close to their trades.zorasdomain wrote:

Hopefully this is true. I really haven't had the time to look at anyone else's teams or think too much about any of this. I think I'm about 130 points ahead of 2nd which is around 3 players so that's not bad.
But there are still a lot of weeks left after this one.

The only one setup a fair bit better than you this week is fifth. I'd be willing to bet he'll be trading in 4 rd17 players this week to try and catch you. Stay in front of him and you're setzorasdomain wrote:

I was just about to say this, last I looked you were about 130 odd ahead of 2nd.
There is a big gap in points among the top 5. As Krump said, its probably between you and four other people as to who takes home the 20 grand. I'd be making time!
Remember though - the pressure is on the guys behind you to make bold choices to actually catch you. Maybe I'm off the mark completely, but I'd probably play it a little safe in your position, for the moment.

If he's the Bulldogs shirt guy I noticed him last week as my major point of concern this week. Hopefully he's out of tradesKrump wrote:

Even if he's not you're still going to have a better team than him after this week.zorasdomain wrote:
