    I reckon you're right.

I was lucky enough to have traded him in 2 weeks ago and got his 62 last week but it was this week I was really counting on a minimum 30. I had SJ as well but that doesn't matter because just about everyone has him.

You done a good job with Martin but where is Milford The Magician when you need him, his rant might have worked (if indeed he has Holland)

Thanks mate.  I wondered where he was too, thought I would fill in.

There's nothing like the original though, bit like the local priest filling in for the pope. If Milf is absent tonight try bagging both James and Brimson please. Thanks in advance

There was a lot of debate in many groups this year regarding bye rounds and if they were still relevant with the new drawer and game format . There is no debate, they are still relevant. Massive gains have been made by those who planned, traded well and had a little bit of luck.

Just saw Lewis up to 54. I think he can become my 18th man. Or he can start and SJ becomes 18th man haha.

I cheered so loudly when Cotric scored. I looked like some kind of die hard Raiders fan.

Only a 6 on the hangover scale as well - bonus!

Luai is smaller than Dufty & we all see how easily Dufty gets ragdolled

More game time for Luai would be a bonus. He looked great, brought plenty of spark.

Hardly anyone has really done bye planning properly though.

VK and ZD have 8 and 9 players for this round (plus whatever trades haven't shown through yet). You only really need 10 decent players this week to get a ranking increase. I would not consider that serious planning for the byes.

Has anyone had 13+ for both bye rounds? What sort of overall rank are you looking at and how many trades do you have left?

Well the 2 dumb mother phucker awards this week go to:
    (1) Manly's Fainu for intentionally posting the filming of a sexual act & charged by the police &
    (2) Cowboys Gela-Mosby charged by police for repeatably driving unlicenced.

Now that's 2 dumb mother fuckers. As my old man use to say they're are as thick as a 4 by 2. My dad was a builder.

Does anyone get the impression with some nrl players who make silly error after error or who give away silly penalties at crucial times that you could hit them in the head 10 times with a sledge hammer & they would do the same thing again. A prime example is the Warriors hooker Luke who in the last 2 games has given away crap penalties at crucial times of the game. Mind you his head looks like someone has already tried the sledge hammer approach.

I did some bye planning, didn't quite work out this week due to having to use trades in previous weeks but went from 695th to 178th in round 13 with 14 players and 2 that unexpectedly were selected for Origin.

This week I have 10 players only but have gone from 129th to 67th with 2 still to come.

It might not prove anything but if you get off to a bad start you can use an effective bye planning strategy to rise through the ranks.

Same guy kicked out on the full 3 times at mile high stadium last week (from the kick off). You would think he'd learn after the first one and not kick it as hard in the high altitude. The funny thing was when he kicked off on Saturday night he kicked it 30m, so he did learn but it took him a week, lol
