I have Smith currently locked in but I'm 99% sure Zora will run with this. I fancy a left field option this week.

Cotric at FB vs Cowboys hmmmmmm
    McInnes vs Tigers
    Wobbie?

Edit, if only I still had Isaako! Very Happy

I wouldn't captain a back. Stick to a forward. I don't feel that McInnes can bust out a good captain score. I think just play it safe this week & captain Smith. Next week when Cook has got over origin then captain him or Smith.

Tolo for me this week. With that bench i dont see many minutes being taken away from him and he will be running over their edge all day.

I wondered why he was top of the player pool list. I didnt notice the price tag - I just though my filter/sort was fudged up.

That's a good call too. I own Jurbo & he could do well against the Storm.

One of my most favourite times in fantasy sports (and I tell this story as often as it's relevant) is when in Super Rugby Dream Team Andre Pretorius was added for $0.
He played one game and then returned to his proper base price.

Base price players were $98k if I remember correctly.
I actually kept him for a few weeks because he was a goal kicking five-eighth.

Essentially made $98k in one week in a game where price rises don't take effect until after the player has played three games and your biggest increase in a player would be about $30-40k.

    That wasn't even the year I finished 5th. (side-brag)

    BUMP

Really struggling with what to do as I have a strong 18 and I can’t work out who to leave out hence the option of trading DCE to Niukore. Have also toyed with the idea of bringing in Farah but that would mean Martin is 18th man again. Obviously the end goal is to bring back Ponga. If I bring in Niukore for DCE I might be able to scrape together enough funds to swap Hetherington for Ponga as Isaako will be handy as a backup. I guess I’m just overthinking it right? Here’s my team again

    Cook
    Fifita James
    Taumalolo Jurbo Brown
    SJ ARey
    Aitken Mitchell
    Tedesco Mbye Isaako

    Smith
    McInnes
    Arrow
    DCE

    Martin
    Hetherington
    Lewis

How many trades? If you have three or fewer, I wouldn't be trading except for injury.

3 trades mate. What about DCE to Farah to give me a bit more cash towards Isaako to Ponga?

Honestly, with three trades left - you're taking a massive gamble making any trades that aren't injury related.

OK, here's the current list of long term/season ending injuries.
I've included long-term injuries to players because as of right now, an eight week injury puts them out for the rest of the season.

This list only includes those who have played first grade this season (or would have) and is probably missing a few:

    Dylan Edwards
    Sam Hoare
    Michael Morgan
    Tautau Moga
    Mahe Fonua
    Payne Haas
    Nate Roache
    Tony Williams
    Beau Scott
    Sam McKendry
    Josh Mansour
    Peter Wallace
    Jordan McLean
    Curtis Sironen
    Kelepi Tanginoa
    Lachlan Croker
    Matt Gillett
    Augustine Pulu
    Mitchell Pearce
    Ata Hingano
    Jack Williams
    Akuila Uate
    Kieran Foran
    Marcelo Montoya
    Dale Copley
Andre Savelio (may have made first grade?)
    RFM
    Max King
    Slade Griffin

    29 players.
Arguably half of them fantasy relevant.

So we're looking at more than one season ending injury per round (yes, some of them were in pre-season) and one every two rounds if you're looking purely at fantasy relevant players.

That means we're looking at an average of four fantasy relevant players getting season-ending injuries between now and the regular season's end.

However, with four weeks to go, if someone is out for three weeks - you would trade them and it a more minor injury will be "season ending".

    Hope that makes sense.

I see your point but which player misses out out of Smith,McInnes,Arrow,Martin and DCE(assuming I play ARey)?

Spot on filth. I just googled a random round late last year and look at all the injuries.

By 10 o'clock tonight one or more of them could be down with injury. Guessing who'll score more week to week out of a bunch of keepers is a great problem to have, out of them i'd likely rest DCE this week.

Could you loop DCE and Arrow? I'd be guessing Arrow may have limited involvement for the Titans after origin or might just be completely knackered anyway but if DCE scores shit against the Storm then you chuck Arrow in.

    My 2c.
