OK, here's the current list of long term/season ending injuries.
I've included long-term injuries to players because as of right now, an eight week injury puts them out for the rest of the season.
This list only includes those who have played first grade this season (or would have) and is probably missing a few:
Dylan Edwards
Sam Hoare
Michael Morgan
Tautau Moga
Mahe Fonua
Payne Haas
Nate Roache
Tony Williams
Beau Scott
Sam McKendry
Josh Mansour
Peter Wallace
Jordan McLean
Curtis Sironen
Kelepi Tanginoa
Lachlan Croker
Matt Gillett
Augustine Pulu
Mitchell Pearce
Ata Hingano
Jack Williams
Akuila Uate
Kieran Foran
Marcelo Montoya
Dale Copley
Andre Savelio (may have made first grade?)
RFM
Max King
Slade Griffin
29 players.
Arguably half of them fantasy relevant.
So we're looking at more than one season ending injury per round (yes, some of them were in pre-season) and one every two rounds if you're looking purely at fantasy relevant players.
That means we're looking at an average of four fantasy relevant players getting season-ending injuries between now and the regular season's end.
However, with four weeks to go, if someone is out for three weeks - you would trade them and it a more minor injury will be "season ending".
Hope that makes sense.
