There are some like myself who choose to use it and have nothing against it or people that use it. Those of us who choose to exploit it though, know the risks and last night I showed that it's not an automatic points boost.
With Holland scoring 54 I could have chosen to sit any of my backs, MBye, Aitken, even SJ, ARey, Teddy or Mitchell, but I chose Marsters because he had a 3 game average before that of 31 or something. I lost 12 points. If I benched Aitken or MBye it would have come off but really only would have netted a max of 17 points.
I'm not mad at all in fact happy Marsters showed some strong form again and I myself chose to loop but just wanted to mention it again for those that did not log in last night. I think people overreact and those that are against it just remember it's a bet and bets don't always pay off. Some are betting people and some are not and thats fine. Looping is like I think betting on a $1.20 favourite and the other team gets the win. Nothing is garunteed.
At the end of the day though, I will still probably loop. I don't really want to start another discussion cause it's been done but wanted to get my point across of my looping fail.
Saying that, if Latrell wants the arvo off, I don't mind haha.
Unsurprisingly a bunch of fantasy nerds talked about this at the footy yesterday. It is not against the rules and 1st place is good enough to use it I don't see why anyone wouldn't
