All good. I wasn't trying to knock him actually, rather pointing out he may have lost a bit of his speed.

Actually what Radradra has done is pretty remarkable and it seems to have gone under the radar a bit. Everyone went way overboard when Hayne was trying out for the Fijian 7s side. Unlike Hayne Radradra has actually legitimately made the side and has looked pretty good.

Fiji were favourites but got knocked out in the semis by NZ (who went on to win).

An NRL club or two would do well to chuck a bit of money at Joe Ravouvou - most impressive player at the tournament IMO!

    Love the intensity.

Any ideas what to do with this team lads?

Would like to bring in Ponga if named to play which would mean ditching one of my forwards(or even SJ but I’d feel a bit uncomfortable moving Mbye to my HLFs) Another left field option is forgetting Ponga(for now at least) and going Fainu to Turbo? Any ideas are welcome

    2 trades 203k bank

    Cook
    Fifita James
    Taumalolo Jurbo Martin
    SJ ARey
    Aitken Mitchell
    Tedesco Mbye Isaako

    Smith
    McInnes
    Farah
    Arrow

    Brown
    Fainu
    Lewis
    Hetherington

With 2 trades left I'd just play what you have & save for injuries.

Rhyse Martin and Benko Lee have both re-signed at their respective clubs for another year until the end of the 2019 season.

Surprising for Martin. I would have thought he could get at least a multi year deal out of the Dogs.

Yeah I thought the same was shocked to only see 1 year. Maybe they’re scared to long backended contracts again

I know we automatically think of Cook or Smith as captain each week but McInnes has been scoring just as well if not better.

I would have thought the Dogs would be wanting the longer deal. For Martin if he signed long term he might sell himself a bit short. Keep proving himself another year and he'll probably demand even more attention and more money.

Some guys over on the Tigers forum said Martin was a done deal with the Tigers, shows how much they know. Also said at the start of the season Barba had signed for 2019, another BS story

Knights injury update posted today - Ponga has trained well. All signs point to him playing this week.

In the press conference when Bennett was asked about Isaako and his leg injury he look blankly and replied with 'he finished the game.'  Like the journo was a fuckwit for aaking the question just cause he stayed on the field haha.

I haven't read anything though so he must be okay

Might flick Lewis this week for Danny Levi leaving me with two trades and enough cover now that Ponga looks set to return.

Couple of 60s playing 80 minutes.
