Can we have a special round of applause for Brad Abbey scoring minus 8 in 80 minutes?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 63
Two teams this round have already broken 1000 points.
Both have Tedesco still to play.
Neither team is relevant overall, ranked 4000th and 7000th.

803/13 with Teddy, RTS, Aitken and one of Arrow/SJ left.
Any thoughts on who I should play out of SJ and Arrow? One is in shit form and one is playing injured. I should have just played fucking Tolman...

The four players that are closest to being a “pod” for me:
Alvaro:39
Cotric: 23
Tturbo: 34
Aitken:
That and captain cam. I’m fucked this round. 900 Would be a good outcome

Once again, the difference between including Holland's 74 in my total or not is 300 places.
Good chance I finish inside the top 1,000 after this round and hopefully keep climbing til the end of the year with a few trades to go around.

Dillian Whyte defeats Joseph Parker unanimous points decision. It's obvious to me based on Parker's last 2 losses that he is too small when he comes up against the top heavyweights (Whyte for example was a stone heavier). Parker will beat 98% of heavyweights but is too small to seriously challenge the top 2% of heavyweights.

It’s a shame but Parker will end up back in ANZ boxing taking on Gallen and Haumono again as I’m just not sure where he goes from here. He’s just not up to the division. He looked awesome in the first round then turned to custard when it got tough. Did well to get back up to be fair to him when got sparked out by a big left

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 63
Jeez looks like im struggling with 746 and only four to go.
Those four are Tedesco, Mitchell, RTS, and SJ.. so could be in for anything from 120 combined to 250...
Ive got Arrow as 18th.
Probably wouldn't complain if one of the backs is out today so i can cop Hollands score..

If SJ wants to be a late withdrawal today so I can count Cleary's score, I'm OK with that

A tweet in response to vossys tweet about betting on tackle counts and rorts, etc
"I dont think anyone deserves to be ripped off, but you are right about it being ridiculous. I used to work for Sportsdata. the blokes are all fans and can easily add a few metres to their favourite players. An extra tackle here and there too."
Be surprised if it was any different now.

He just didn't seem to want it, especially in the last few rounds. Didn't take advantage of Whyte's fatigue and his speed and desire seemed to drop away.
Can't believe he's still mid-twenties though. He's still got many years left in him but you're right, he's in real danger of turning into just another journeyman.

Even if they aren't meaning too, it's easy to have that unconscious bias.

I'm hoping Aitken plays but is forced off the field early for a very low score.
Also happy for SJ to sit out, could be worse than getting Lewis's 49!
Also on my death-riding list:
Ryan James
IPaps
Ferguson
Matterson
Radley
de Belin (does anyone have him these days? Doesn't seem to be any talk about him at all)

Bit harsh I reckon mate. Those 2 you mention aren't even boxers they are just 'celebrity' fighters. Parker, in his career to date, has beaten some decent boxers.
That being said he was outclassed v Joshua and well beaten tonight so I agree he is a step down from the elite at this stage.
However, while I didnt watch the whole fight today, I did watch the first knock down. Surely Parker was a bit unlucky there. Looked to me like he copped Whyte's head to his temple. I wonder if that was a key factor in how the rest of the fight unfolded?
Hopefully he finds his way back into some decent money fights in a couple years. Kids gonna have to work his ballz off now though to be any chance at a decent matchup from here you'd think.

Wrong captain choice for me, as Im sure is the case with a number of others.
so 749 from 12 including (c)am.
Up to 32nd, but doubt I hold that from here... (Arrow, Teddy, SJ, RTS, and McInnes to come).
