This was my theory last week. I'm not sure I can have the same faith this week, especially when I have Surgess as a pretty decent backup.
But CK is selling him and telling others to do the same, which is usually the point that players bring back their good scores.

Yeah I'm really not sure about Arrow but heaps of people are either selling or putting in emg's so if he miraculously turns it around he will be a differential. The late mail said the Titans had no injury concerns but I think they have been saying this for the last 2 weeks. His stats are way down from his best but it shows how passionate he is about not letting the boys down so he'll play no matter what. He has aggravated his knee injury basically in his first hit up in both games I think. Maybe he won't aggravate the knee injury in his first hit up this week & gets over that mental barrier, gets his confidence back & then he's back . Shot Arrow.

    RTS and McInnes

    Or

    Turbo and James/Crichton/Brown

    Think McInnes wins me over.

Can you find a way to get Ponga and Brown in?

13 Immortals. Anybody else besides me think that the ever increasing number actually dilutes the achievement?

I feel the same way about the Wally Lewis statue at Lang Park. It somehow became less special when they started putting other statues in. They ruined it.

I don't mind it.  I mean it's 13 over a Century and 5 after only 3 named in the last couple of decades.  Maybe they could have done 3 and 3 over a few years instead though.

What I think is tremendous about tonight is the seemless presentation, and the colour/style of the podium emblem and the jackets.  It's like the NRL actually got something almost completely bloody perfect.  EVERY single Hall of Famer speech has been tremendous-emotional and well articulated.

And how good was Gordy's speech?  Bloke didn't stumble at all and was actually humourous and was welling up.  Loved it!

Yeah definitely agree that the presentation and the whole night has been great, cannot fault them one bit on that aspect. And it warms my heart to see Meninga picked, a childhood hero and an absolutely deserving immortal. Really thought Locky would get the other, but that is probably just generational bias. Still find it hard to process the ranks swelling from 8 to 13, but mainly I am just glad Brian Bevan didn't get picked- you can't play 8 games of Rugby League in Australia and become an immortal, no matter how good you were in England afterward! He just has such a low floor though really.  At least Surgess you know you're getting 40 minimum.  Gallen's minutes are a bit of a roulette sometimes too, but 55-60 minutes and you're getting gun scores.  Surgess DPP, not that that means much if I keep Arrow.  Tough decisions.

Yeah if I kick out RTS and keep Turbo then I can go RTS to Ponga and Papalii to Brown. Might get sold on that, McInnes just seems so reliable though.

Although I wouldn't expect the Bulldogs to get the better of the Broncos.

I was tempted to play Walker over RTS but don't feel like Walker deserves a spot in the 17 anymore

Tempted to play Kikau over Martin this week. Can’t see Martin getting many metres over TPJ and Roberts. Yet Kikau should be able to run over Austin*

*i think Austin will be in the centres in Kikaus (left) side attack?

I'm tossing up the same thing, but also have Mbye to choose from. Vomit One of them is likely to score 50+. Picking the one that will do so seems impossible.

Look to the top of your screen to see why not playing Martin is a bad idea...

Any news on if Taupau is 100% fit this week? Was looking to bring him in but might hold off if he is playing at 80-90%
