Yeah the girl who sucked Fainu's Koni didn't seem to mind.

haven't looked at his numbers but remember the scoring is different over at VSDT. I suspect he goes better over there given his run meters and the number of tries he's scoring. Worth checking on that as you might be under the impression he is better than he really is in NRLF.

Yeah I checked some of the numbers last night and although he doesn't have many "huge" scores he's not too inconsistent (range of 27-66). I just feel like the likelihood of Hoppa scoring under 20 is more than Ferguson and I hadn't really thought an upgrade before this week. Plus he's POD-ish and I don't really want TTrbo as my Manly quota is already high

This may have flown under the radar but Jason Nightingale is also retiring at seasons end. Lots of Retirees this year.

Equality/equity has to come from the culture though. You can't say "well there aren't any women who have chosen coaching as a career path" when the general consensus around here is that is that clubs are never going to want them anyway.

Equal opportunity it is not if a woman has to work significantly harder to achieve the same as her male counterpart.
As long as the male game is more prominent (and that's not going to change anytime soon), the guys are going to have a huge headstart being that we would've watched them play for years most of the time before they retire and think about coaching as a post-playing career.

He's always quietly flown under the radar. Underrated player for sure.

I just got through reading a 13 page Manly forum thread on Fainu & last round the Manly club asked the nrl integrity unit if they should play Fainu in round 21 or stand him down & the nrl said play him until the court case is decided. I'd say 95% of the comments on there don't want him to play effective immediately but it seems Manly have acted responsibly.

I actually know this one! It comes from the 16th or 17th century when pantaloons where actually two seperate items one for each leg. Ever since they have been known as a pair

I agree with all of that. My point is if someone wants to be a coach, shouldn't matter their gender if they are good enough, let them do the job.

In this p.c. age what people say & what they actually honestly believe are 2 different things. Look at Ben Stokes alcohol brought out his true feelings abouts gays.
