Why didn't they do a sexiest player poll?

Interesting that they know Bennett is past it but would still go to Brisbane.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Player Poll
I thought the same thing. Was also suprised that the Titans made the list. Must be something about the brown paper bags weather up there.
And to the 11% of players who said Blake Green was the best 5/8th in the game ....... give yourself an upper cut.

Luke polling higher than Cook as well. Maybe an over representation of Warriors got polled? No Worries wrote:I thought the same thing. Was also suprised that the Titans made the list. Must be something about thebrown paper bagsweather up there.

IIRC the poll was from before state of origin when Luke was in a huge purple patch. Warriors still can't win without him.
Cook would probably poll better after origin and kicking on even more since then.
These polls are pretty bland nowadays. I remember "who would you least likely to get in a fight with" was won a few years in a row by Monty Betham.
I also remember the league week reader polls with sexiest player going to Michael Witt

Re: 2018 NRL.com Player Poll
The timing would explain Luke. That would imply that they're going off form at the time of polling though which would have JT nowhere near the top of the half backs.
Maybe I'm overthinking how much thinking an NRL player would put into something like this...

Remember the uproar when theyuse to ask who the most over rated player was and Mitchell Pearce had a mortgage on it

Didn't league week used to do it? They change to the NRL doing it explains the boring questions.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Player Poll
Interesting re Green, I was gonna say same about the 9% who suggested Milford, deadset! And to the 34% who didn't say Smith is the best Hooker, fuck me dead, hope they are never selectors for NSW or Oz or recruitment guys for the Eels when their playing careers finish.

Also explains Chambers as the best centre.

Daniel Conn never gave the award back.
Speaking of aesthetics, NRL need to hire new graphic designers. Ordinary.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Player Poll
The who is the best ___ in the game merely proves how stupid a fair chunk of the players in the NRL really are. Would anyone here actually know 1 person who thinks Smith isn't the best hooker in the game, Moloney is the best player in the game, or that RCG is the best middle forward in the game? Even Isaac Luke's mum would consider Cameron Smith the best hooker in the game.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Player Poll
The question I liked best is the 'would you like an all expenses paid, mid-season holiday over to the US with your mates'.......
Was surprised there was so many (in fact any) that voted no.
So much for player burnout!
