Haha yep.
Sorry haven't paid much attention to NRL Fantasy this season (personally hate the new format) but what is the go there?
Can Lone Scout actually win anything or I assume he would be an employee and ineligible?

Lone Scout gets extra trades and has email chats with Danesh for favourable stat counting - just to stay competitive and give his advice some weight. The masses need someone to look up to. Here you go Jesus, there are some extra loaves and fishes under the table shhhh

I deadset thought i recall Lonescout was waaaay down the rankings mid season. Does anyone else remember this or am I dreaming it? For him to be 27th now seems a little dubious to say the least.

I think Zora deserved a bit more credit in this article with running first place for most of the season. Only for the Banner Boys to mess up the run home

Ha, thanks Chewie. I thought so too.
All I got was "The curiously named "qazwsx" sits in third place after dropping out of top spot in recent weeks".
Firstly, my name is the least curious of any team, ever.
Secondly, that "recent" week was this week, after 15 weeks in first. But whatever

Yeah, nowhere near enough credit given to you Zora. Disappointing.

Well, even I got a mention in the esteemed Lone Scouts article.
While my notoriety pales into insignificance with the erstwhile Zora and Verbal,
I have received the 15 nanoseconds of fame we all secretly crave. (Albeit as a faceless Fantasy Sport technician)
I don’t care if I win the Storm Comp now, my work here is done.
I'll show myself out, Cheers...

The JT countdown on Fox is a bit over the top, isn't it? Or am I just a cynical old shithead?

I'll be doing my best. I've made it hard for myself but if my team can play like they all were a few weeks back I'm in with a shot.
Pick the right captain and I'm half way there
At least I'll know tomorrow how things are looking after Mbye and Farah play . If Mbye scores 15 again it's all over, but I'll be glad to know it early.

Now that you've taken care of the whole Liddle situation we've both got a good chance of placing. Farah for a banner and we're sweet!

Slightly optimistic, but with Farah signing on, would there be a logical reason to even have Liddle on the bench from now on? Maybe Liddle was just getting some gametime with the presumption that Farah was finishing up? Now he can fuck off

wolfking wrote:I need a back for Aitken but only have 507K to spend. Isaako looking like the only decent option. Unless I take a punt on Mansour but probably not worthwhile. With Arrow and ARey on the pine, do I trade Farah to Holmes when Liddle is confirmed on the bench, run Arrow but then only have ARey as cover? Or swap ARey to RTS and keep Arrow as 18th man. I can see Liddle getting more minutes now their season is fucked. Team is;
Cook
Fifita Taupau
Tolo JTurbo Crichton
Cleary SJ
Aitken Marsters
Mitchell Ponga Holland
Smith James Farah Martin
ARey Arrow Clifford Rooster RedDot
Thanks lads.
Sorry to bump boys, especially when I have the opportunity for more than 17 men, but 50 ahead in my work comp and like Zora (not comparing at all mate) but have been run down the last month big time and my team falling to shit. So;
Aitken - Isaako (with ARey and Arrow as backups with looping ability)
or
Farah - Holmes (if Liddle named, loop Arrow/Martin and ARey)
or
ARey - RTS/Cotric (loop Farah/Martin/Arrow whatever)
Everyone should play so 1 backup should be enough, but who knows. I don't think it's worth having 2 backups and settling for an Isaako instead, is it?

That would be great, but Liddle is listed in the 17 on the team list as of today. Could change tomorrow though and I sure hope it does.
