My draft recap is dire compared to last year. B grade, projected record of 6-8 and 5th place luckily I'm feeling a bit more optimistic about the squad than that haha

I’m not happy with a few of my picks yet the breakdown gave me a big thumbs up with a projected 14-0 record

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
L1 - drafted from position 7 this year - this is what "Limp Trubisket" has to select from for week 1...
Rivers
MGordon
Fournette
Kenyan Drake
P Barber
Kerryon
Aaron Jones
Sony
Jordan Wilkins
James Conner
Thielen
C Hogan
John Brown
Burton
JReed
No defence or kicker yet. picked up a couple of extra RBs to see what happens in next few days (will Le'veon and marlon mack play R1?). Will look to stream QB, D and K every week.
I drafted first last year and lost DJ in the first quarter of the first game so had to fight for RBs all last year. May have overcompensated this year.
Predicted to come nearly last by NFL.com. Trying to defend L1 title this year but not confident after that...
good luck all

Strong side. NFL predictions dont account for waiver pickups so ignore that.
Mack is no chance for at least 2 weeks I thought... Who are the 2 on the chopping block to bring in a D and K? Im in the same boat, ignored K for an extra flyer in the WRs... I know 100% that whoever I drop to bring a K in will have a huge game.

I'm not a fan of PBarber, Sony or Wilkins but they have to stay Round 1 to see how they go (if they go).
John Brown on the chopping block, and possibly Reed, or James Connor if Leveon is named Round 1.
Yep, that's the way it works - Brown and Reed to go massive Week 1 after dropping them.

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
Drafting From Number 10, getting the back2back picks.
The Team:
QB: Ryan Tannehill
RB: Alex Collins, Kareem Hunt, Marlon Mack, Matt Breida, Nick Chubb, Ronald Jones,
WR: Julio Jones, Marvin Jones, Pierre Garcon, Alshon Jeffery, Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway,
TE: Zach Ertz
Def: Denver Broncos,
K:
The Recap:
With plans to stream my QB I really like Tannehill early, though I may end up dumping him in favour of someone else who is available.
Wasn't sure when Matt Breida would be taken after the McKinnon injury, so I definitely jumped on him early. I was tossing up between him and Morris, knowing whoever I picked would be taken soon after. Morris was picked 2 picks after Breida. Breida under a slight injury cloud could be touch and go week 1. Just hope he gets the chance an solidifies the RB roll at the 49ers and it isn't a RBC there. Zach Ertz is one of the Top 2 TE options. Between him and Kelce they should be the Top 2 end of season. (Gronk is in a tier of his own, and does not come into the discussion with TEs. He is something else.)
I am most likely missing Marlon Mack and Alshon Jeffery for the opening week or two, when they return it will be good to round out my team with them. Garcon will finally get to play with Garoppolo so I hope they end up having a strong connection. Goodwin is a guy I would have liked to have in my team.
Antonio Callaway possibly my most throw away pick. I am hoping he pips Higgins in the pecking order and gets a chance throughout the season, and doesn't get suspended.. You know what I may drop him for my kicker. The other two guys to drop are Ronald Jones and Nick Chubb. I don't know too much about them, but Chubb is more likely to get a run sitting behind Hyde and Jones preseason hasn't inspired confidence.

Yeah, i think he would have got back to me at the top of rd3. I wanted a receiver but didnt like who was left at that stage, should have went Howard but thought he would get through. Basically i think i could have got Howard + Gronk but ended up with Drake + Gronk
here is my recap

Who was the WR flyer you missed out on?
Really happy mate! On really missed on Keelan Cole when I should of taken him over the Texans D
I've got a really strong starting WR and RB core with Zeke/Bell JuJu/OBJ so I wanted to get solid TE/D prospects and more so high scoring potential in the reserves over more established do your job guys like say Garcon/Sanders type players. Wanted Rudolph and to get him as late as i did I was happy with, will play the matchups with Engram and Rudolph now
I probably took Breida too high but I like his potential with no McKinnon with Jimmy G's style of play, Williams could be huge for me and I'm happy with the rookie RB's Jones and Penny who could get me some draft capital for next year
DJ Moore I also think could be gold later in the season
You happy with your haul?
