Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
GG @StuDogg101 tough to have your stars not showing up at this time of the year. Second worse for the year for me @Rippin and Tearin, had an 80 against Deuces back in Rd5. That being said, my last three weeks have been pretty concerning. Going to need to keep an eye on Tyreek this week and do a better job of setting my line up. Have 24 points from Mack sitting on the bench had me pretty pissed of coming into this game, just glad Kamara and Run CMC got the job done.

Finished up tied for 8th with a big defensive game on MNF, both teams cracked a dozen. Not a bad shout as a free agent addition with 10 - I'll give you that, but outside the top 6!
In terms of the avatar bet - let's roll with my new man crush riding an imaginary house after he buried Goff in the turf.

Well done @ryno_ got me fair and square. You deserved to win that bet. As you rightly pointed out, the Jags D was actually pretty average, the 10 points only due to the Special teams TD.

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
I was just taking a look at week 16 rankings and thought I may as well summarise what looks like it will be a very close League 1 final between Mearcats and myself (ranks taken form fantasy pros consensus rankings).
Pretty crazy that in the final we will see the top ranked QB, 5 of the top 10 RBs, 3 of the top 6 WRs, and the top 2 DSTs. Looking forward to it!
QB - the biggest mismatch - winner Mearcats
Mearcats: Mahomes (rank #1) v R n T: Mayfield (rank #7)
RBs (including flex) - pretty crazy how stacked these teams are here - slight edge to R n T
McCaffery, Kamara, Mack (#3, #6, #12) v Barkley, Mixon, Henry (#2, #7, #9)
WRs - again, pretty crazy depth here - winner R n T
Hill, Evans (#6, #13) v Hopkins, Brown (#1, #3)
TE - decent matchup - winner Mearcats
Ebron (#4) v Brate (#8 )
DST - 1 v 2 ranked D - even
Bears (#2) v Rams (#1)
K - don't think there is much point predicting K matchups but for what its worth
Myers (#17) v Gostkowski (#3)

Agree with what you've got here mate. I personally don't rank Henry in the top 15 let alone top 10 but it seems the Miami Derrick Henry's have decided that he's the only one to do anything now so based on his last few weeks I'll give it to him and he has me cautious.
No argument at all regarding the WRs, Hopkins is a monster (and will probably be the no. 1drafted WR next season) and AB is AB. You've got me there easy.
Ebron scares me. Fortunately he has a pretty favourable game against NYG this week but that's basically counterbalanced by Brates Tampa match up. Is tight.
I have the rankings for DST reversed. Bears are no. 1 IMO. However, Rams have a much better match up this week against the Cardinals, who will probably throw the game for a better draft spot.
News this morning of Cam Newton being done for the season has me slightly concerned but hoping that it means more work for Run CMC. Maybe he can play RB1 AND QB2 and throw another TD or two. Lol

You spelt "glorious" wrong. Until real life playoffs.
In terms of the ratings, Mayfield at #7 is low. Browns are full of momentum and he skull fucked the Bengals a month ago for 4 scores. I'm subbing him in for a GF in a separate league.

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
Yeah I don't necessarily agree with the rankings either although they are a pretty good guide. I like Mayfield this week. I picked him up several weeks ago on the chance I made it to the finals. This week will be the first week I use him this season.
Henry is a conundrum, who knows where he should be ranked to be honest. But 2 killer games in a row you'd think the Titans keep him going - why would they change. Im just happy to have him on my roster at this points. Another great FA pick up!

Damn, what a fucking win, there’s the come-back to the ‘Lamar has only beaten bad teams’ narrative, I’m not sure Jackson is the answer to all our problems, but I do know it’s gunna be weird seeing Flacco wearing teal & black next season.

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
Prior to todays game I took Baltimore to win the whole thing at $41.
They have a D which means they can beat anyone and a number of the other (previously) high-flying teams are starting to be found out a bit - i.e. Rams, NO, and KC.
I think this years Super Bowl is wide open now. 3 weeks ago I would have said there was basically 3 or 4 teams in it!

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
Probably not enough to get me the win in L1, but going all in to trade for Brown has certainly kept me in the match. Dude has 2TDs + 150 yards!

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 4
Congrats @Mearcats looks like you got me by a TD!
Im pretty stoked I cam that close to be honest - your team has been by far and a way the most dominant all season and for a few minutes there in the KC Sea I thought I might even have you!
Well done on a good season!

Will do! Play you again same time next season?
Happy to sneak the win in L2 without Gurley, thought you were the best team all season, even when I had the big fella.

Side note, being overseas makes me realise how bad the Timezone were in at home is for NFL. Much appreciation to the fellow NFL watchers keeping interest in the sport alive when the games are on at fucked times.
