James Conner still has a couple of weeks left.

Expected to report during bye week

    October 1, 2018

Bell (contract dispute) is expected to report to the Steelers during the team's Week 7 bye, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

    ANALYSIS
Bell still must sign the franchise tag before suiting up this season, but at least there's a sign that he'll return in the near future. If he indeed reports to the Steelers' facility Week 7, his first chance to take the field will be Sunday, Oct. 28 against the Brown

    Makes sense mate!

Seems to me right now if you dont have Gurley & Kamara its gonna be pretty hard to keep pace with the leaders....

Thinking about trading Johnson to Freeman and then RObinson to Ridley. Would leave me with 3.5 mil and try and build it up over the coming weeks. I have Keelan Cole too though who seems like a dud.

I have no idea what I'm doing to be honest. I've been found out now that my lucky start has eroded Very Happy

I can see who would make money but I dont know if they have any security to make it worth trading.

I'm ditching Gronk this week. Haemorrhaging money and injured. Bad call to start with him in hindsight. I also made a bad call to load up on WRs and missing out on Kamara. Cant fix that now and am hoping that Ingram takes half his work.

Will trade hard through byes and see what happens.

I would consider Gronk>Kelce this week if I hadn't already done Kelce>Gronk 3 weeks ago. FML.

Who would you get for Gronk?

    Oh, it's too late.

Looks like you went Gronk & Dissly > Kittle & Cook. Kittle and Cook are both seeing a lot of usage, so could work out okay, but Gronk is a deadset weapon so get ready for some burnage some weeks.

I had no intention of making any TE trades at all. Was set on Gronk/Burton set and forget keepers. Traded 3 times now haha

Gronk is a risk with his injury history of late but that being said when he plays he is still the best fantasy TE in the comp IMO.

I dont think it was a terrible call to trade him, but not sure it was a great one either given he started tonight.

That being said, I would have traded him if he didnt start tonight.

The analogy I'd give with TEs in fantasy NFL is Cs in NRL. You dont really want to muck round too much to be honest.... You've got a couple decent ones now though in Cook who is now being re-evaluated this year as a legitimate fantasy TE option. And Kittle how is good value for money!

I dont think your decision to load up on WRs was a bad one mate - you are basically set there. Kamara's production will go down a bit I think, but not heaps. You'll be able to get him cheaper later I'd say, but I do think he's a must for the season at some point. Probably a RB core of Gurley (must), Kamara (Must), Gordon (Must) and then 1 of Elliot / Barkley to round out. Thats what I am looking at anyway! Trades might mean I have to have Barkley for the season...

I'm considering doing Darnold>Mayfield for the 1.5 mil and for the superior matchup in week 7 when I need backup for Rodgers. Jets have Vikings, Browns have Bucs. Thoughts?

Yup, I like it, and its really beneficial if you have Rodgers.

I've traded Luck to Mayfield. It killed me trading out luck given his 71 last week and projected $1m to make this week BUT, I didnt bank on Mahomes being so good so I now have way too much money tied up in my third QB, so had to make the move! Means I can upgrade my WR core without sacrificing my starting line up.

EDIT: This is not quite right but it should give you an approximation - Im not sure if I have the formula wrong or if the Magic Number is different.

By the way guys, the following is the formula used to calculate the future price of a player, i.e. the price they will be after the current round if they score X.

    Next week price = 0.75*Current Price+Magic Number*0.25*(X*+X1*+X2)/3

Magic number ~=365,000 but changes each week.

    X=current round score (currently unknown)
X1=last round score (needs to be a non zero score so if their last round was a buy, then X-1 effectively is the players score from two games ago)
X2=score from 2 rounds ago (with same caveat as above

Basically the formula says that a players future price is a function of their current price and a weighted average of their 3 most recent prices...

If you set current price = future price and reargue to solve for X, that is the formula for the BE value.

    Hope that helps.

Example from this week = A Luck:

    Next week price = 0.75*11,290,000+365,000*0.25*(49+71+27)/3 = 12,940,000

Kamara, Johnson, Mixon, Barkley, Conner (Freeman).

Which one joins Freeman on the bench this week? Leaning towards Conner, but have a feeling he could burn me if I do.

Though one mate. I might actually play Connor this week: mixon is not 100% so coach dmaaid he won’t be back to his usual role. Connor has a good match up. Also just checked and fantasypros has Connor rated at 8 this week (8th best RB) mixon 17.

Made the switch at 3.55, and Conner already has 25 points in the first drive. Cheers legend.

Sick of my WRs, rest of the team going okay though. Went with the vc loophole on Rodgers using Captain Carlson.

In other news, currently 2nd in the Draftstars main slate with Beathard, Kittle and 49ers D in play, not many other teams up the top have more than 1 player left. Would be nice to make back some of my donations with a W.
