Wow, what a huge game. Missed most of it unfortunately. Captain Gurley and no Kelce kind of ruined Verbals round. Congrats to who I think might be Welshy (?) on the 713 and new highest score for the season. Damn it!

R n T....the next round could be super important before gearing up for the run home. As it stands we're looking at

Kamara vs Gordon
Chubb vs Kerryon
Edelman vs Adams
Olsen vs Gesicki
Crosby vs Maher

Guessing we'll both play the Jags this week, so that cancels out. I think I've already given away that I'm going Edelman>Thielen/Adams. Sounds like you could have an issue with Kerryon. Captain strategy could also be important this week with no Mahomes/Gurley option.

Thanks for pulling that together mate. I like some of those matchups and not others haha. I'll be making a couple moves this week but just not sure what they are yet. Will keep them as a surprise aye

Its a bit of a toss up between prioritising this weeks matchups vs the long game.

Agree, C strategy could be crucial. With Mahomes my usual fall back guaranteed 50 point option is gone and not sure about Rodgers vs the Vikings. But the alternative is to risk busting out on two RBs or a RB WR combo! Will have to have a think....

Yeah I’m looking ok. I’d back Gordon over DJ too so hopin to make up more ground. Not sure on C. Simple averages suggest I should I think. But undecided. Also not sure whether I burn a trade to add a better TE or not...

BTW, interested to see what u decide to do with Edelman....

Nice move on matching Barkley. You lost very little from Gesicki vs Olsen, and I guess unlucky that Gordon got injured but at least he had a nice start. Unless DJ gets out and does something here then I need about 50 points from Adams + Crosby to maintain a 5 point lead.

Yeah cheers, to be honest I was gonna roll with Gordon but the injury news got me worried so thought it best to go Barkley.

Yeah, got lucky with Olsen having a quite one.

Gordon would have likely got a third TD and a few more yardage points but hey, I'll take it. He has an MCL sprain though I think so probably gonna have to use a trade next week - thats a bugger!

Currently it looks like I have you by 64 but you have the rest of the second half with Adams and Crosby.... previously was a 42 point lead so its gonna be neck and neck you'd think come the end of this round!

Bad start for me with Kamara vs Zeke. At least Maher didn't do too much after a fast start (funny thing to say about a kicker).

Trying to decided which QB to downgrade to fund my last couple of upgrades. Plan has always been Mayfield this round, but his 3 and 5 week averages are both significantly better than Rodgers. Which one scores more this week?

Thank goodness the Kareem Hunt news came out today, not next week. I was probably going to bring him in this week!

Those 4 teams will typically share ~12-14 common players each round (pending any trades).

IMO, it really will come down to luck from here.

Im largely happy with my team, but looking at others it is perhaps a little thinner in depth, specifically re my back up TE & QB. But trades can deal with that if I have to.

Just noticed myself and Limp Trubiskit are in the final 16 of the eliminator.

Hadn't checked that until now and see I scraped in by 2 points in my last matchup.

Where is Welshy? Looked to me like he didnt do his teams for this comp and the NFL.com fantasy league which is very unlike him....
