Capewell another one to add to the shortlist. With so many players leaving he should lock up a starting gig. Doesn't matter if it is centre or 2rf he scores much better than off the bench

Welch stepping up into the Glasby role should see a bump in points aswell

Xerri is a centre with a lot of hype around him. Is expected to be a first grade prospect soon but coach thinks he might not quite be ready for next year. He's pretty young, I think he played under 18s Origin this year and is still at school.

Edit: actually played both under 18s and under 20s Origin this year. Is only 17.

Xerri is such a cool name & he sounds like an Italian football player would plays for AC Milan not the Cronulla Sharks.

Tom Sangster has already released his early picks for the 2019 super coach season & there are a couple of potential bargains:
    (1) As MS mentioned Capewell
    (2) Morgan Harper - Bulldogs - teenager who is carving up the lower grades & has the backing of Josh Morris. There could be a chance of playing 1st grade with the Morris bros leaving but the Bulldogs have recruited C. Crichton & Meaney so time will tell.
    (3) Kotone Staggs - Broncos have openings in both forwards & backs & TPJ & Oates haven't re-signed & are shopping themselves to other clubs.
    (4) J. Hughes - looks the front runner to replace Slater at f/b but Drinkwater also competing.
    (5) Roache - missed 2018 season with back injury & he is a chance of being the starting hooker if as rumoured I. Luke is forced out of the Warriors although they be doing everything they can to keep Luke.
    (6) Zac Lomax - with Nightingale retired there's asn opening although K. Mann will be competing also.
    (7) Ponga - if moves to 5/8th he will get dpp.
(Cool TPJ - struggled with hamstring issues this year which limited him to 50 mins per game. While the Broncos are confident of retaining him he remains unsigned & the Knights have cash to splash. A switch back to his hometown of Newcastle would mean more minutes in a weaker pack, possibly 80 minutes. Even at the Broncos he has a strong chance of more minutes with the exit of K. Sims & Thaiday.

What's the deal with Moga. With Ramien going there then he will partner Sione in the ctrs. Does Moga go to another club.

I saw that baz posted earlier in the year that Sione will go back into the forwards most likely off the bench or Barnett moving to prop rotation

With Hughes to play FB next year and Jacks moving on Crofty will have the half spot all to himself, he definitely started having the scores that I thought he would at the start of the year.

Is Munster not going back to FB next year? He has played some outstanding games there in the past.

I think Hughes has been groomed for a while to take over for Slater but Hughes does have competition from Drinkwater.

7 News Brisbane - in an interview with TPJ the young gun said he's rejecting major cash to stay loyal. He'll sign a rich long-term deal with the Broncos.

I'm not buying it because I've read comments on how arrogant he is & arrogant people usually go where the money is because they think they deserve it. Didn't he leave the Raiders to go to the Broncos because of money. If he does stay the Broncos have some future stars - TPJ, Su'a, Haas, Mago, D. Fifita, Staggs

Rapana almost single handily cost me a top 100 spot. He has moved into the never again pile.

He's better off personally in the halves. It's goodbye rep career if he goes to fullback.

    FINALS TIPPING COMP

Just a quick comp for shits and giggles. Usual 1st prize of fame, glory and bragging rights. Also gaurenteed to get your prize quicker than anything Fanhub runs.

    Tipping comp. rules.

Tips to be in prior to kick off of first game
1 point for correct team, bonus point for correct margin
Wrong team makes margin ineligible. eg. If the Dragons beat the Bronco's 13+ and you chose the Bronco's 13+ you don't get a bonus point

Got a couple of mates who are hard core Knights fans. No real inside info but they think Moga won't be ready for start of the year. Sione starts on the left with Ramien on the right
