Well the overwhelming feedback they would have got last year would be for working functionality on the app. So until they launch next week it's too early to say if they've actually changed anything.

As for the rules/gameplay, I suspect there would be mostly positive feedback on the free bench and ranked subs, and if you were hoping they'd go back to the old ways then you were setting yourself up for disappointment. It's really only the loophole that might have changed. It would be interesting to see what response was to that, because although there are a lot of vocal voices against it, there are people who love that sort of shenanigans. In the end last year, I don't think setting your team up to loop would have proved a viable strategy anyway. Actual opportunities to get more than a couple of extra points come along pretty rarely.

You say "all of us" like you know what all responders said, rather than what one very small community mostly said.

Agreed. We have been for years now anyway. Surely it can't get any worse?

I am happy to slag Fiona and the terrible product, but at the end of the day it is inevitable that I will come crawling back begging for whatever scraps they deem fit to cast in my direction.

Milk, I can't reply to posts on this platform so I will just post again. The accessibility of the app and its functionality is the highest priority on my list. This is because I am blind and play the game on the iPhone using voice-over. Last season I could not use the app myself until round seven which was disgraceful. I listed so many problems that I got blocked and all of my messages or a ignored .

That's fucked. I'm not playing until you say the apps all good for you.

I think it's been mentioned but Cameron Smith indicated that Scott Drinkwater was ahead of Jahrome Hughes in the race for the number 1

Either one will be awesome, I hope Hughes can stay fit if he gets a crack.

For sure. I think I'll go with whoever starts at fullback if DWZ pips Edwards

Do you think Brandon Smith gets a Jazz Tevaga kind of role this season?

Probably not. The difference between Melbourne's interchange and the Warrior's is that the Warriors generally carried a utility last year where as Melbourne didn't, giving the Warriors bench more minutes.

I personally don't rate Barnett in the slightest. Opinions vary to quote the great Patrick Swayze. I think Sione has a reasonable chance of starting on the edge with Fitzgibbon, Guerra at lock and Easy E/Barnett to come off the bench

I believe this is the likely Knights forward line-up & bench:

    8 Glasby
    9 Levi/Griffin/Mann
    10 Klemmer
    11 Fitzgibbon
    12 Guerra
    13 Ese Ese

    14 Levi/Griffin/Mann
    15 Sione Matautia
    16 Gavet
    17 Dan Safiiti

Leaving Barnett, Buhrer, Jacob Saifiti, Lino to fight for spots during the season.

Impressive the squad Brown has now built at Newcastle. Expecting them to push into the top 8, maybe top 6 depending on fitness of key players like Pearce, Ponga & Klemmer.

That looks the go for sure. I don't think Slade will be ready for round 1 though. Should slot straight in mid season
