As a Dragons fan i would hate to see Mary put Dufty on the bench as i don't see him playing anywhere but fullback. meanwhile Norman can play anywhere in the backline.

I wanna go back to those Broncos minutes. If we agree those 10 minutes for Staggs go to the backs, does Haas really get the other 10 bringing him to 30 minutes? He's an exciting prospect but he's barely 19 and has 36 minutes of NRL experience. Coaches want to win their games which is why they give guys like McGuire 65 minutes and the bench stuff all.

For example, Seibold was happy to have Douehi on the bench getting stuff all minutes and then those minutes would often go to the backs anyway, and then give 21 minutes to Tatola. And bigger minutes to the remaining guys.

Payne will get 30 minutes a game.

The second prop off the bench wont get as much.

I guess the thing in his favour is that with all these predicted teams, he's the only genuine prop on the bench.

It will be pangai lodge and ofa in the starting middle. Haas will be the first interchange onto the field. The second "middle" bench spot is up for grabs.

The other two bench spots will be a backrower and staggs.

When you say it like that, it really makes sense. I'm converted. What about the starting guys, TPJ/Offa, you like any of those?

I'm not entirely confident. Fensom who I think might get a spot might play an extra few

    30 isn't unrealistic though, he's on a multi-million contract don't forget

I got a lot of love for Fensom but the timing of his signing, just seems like a depth signing to me. May earn that last bench spot but I just cant see him getting big mins unless some of those ahead form really drops.

TPJ and Ofa both very tempting but I probably wont pick either.

True, true. I don't disagree really, just a bit of devil's advocate.

I think it'd be a bad idea. He's too small. You could argue thompson is too but he's very experienced where as Dufty hasn't played on the wing even at NYC or NSW Cup level

Fair enough. I hadnt given the dragons much thpught. Seems odd he'd go from starting fullback to such a limited role, but I admit to not rating the bloke anyway.

My original rotation had glenn and fifita but someone correctly pointed out that one of them would probably make way for a middle forward. Are there any other middles that are pushing? Broncos don't seem to have much depth in the middle

You may well be right. A lot of second rowers so one might be used in the middle. Otherwise they have a couple of really young guys.

Entirely possible he starts at fullback still I think. King Assassin makes a good point that Norman isn't much of a fullback and would be a more apt utility.

Whoah. It's Norman and Hunt in the halves and Widdop at FB isn't it?

Fifita is an absolute animal. I think he starts over Su'a by now. Andrew Voss said during the Schoolboy Cup that he thought he was the best young forward talent he's ever seen in 20 years he's commentated/watched the comp
