1046 first round and 1138 this round has me at 1951st overall. Not bad considering it is my first year. Holland and Edwards are my only real glaring weaknesses at the moment. I think ill trade Holland to Burns. Edwards is on my bench with Munster starting at FB so i could exclude him from my 17 but i think ill give him one last round before he is benched for good (well for at least a couple rounds or until he poves he can score high with reasonable consistently).

I do have to trade Taumololo as well. I'm actually thinking of downgrading to Bateman and building a massive war chest of $521,100 to help me make my early upgrades. Other options are Lane, Cordner, Trbojevic but i think Bateman can average a similar amount to those more expensive options. I wanted Bateman in my team for round 1 but just couldn't find a way to get him in. In the end I went with Holland instead which in hindsight looks pretty poor.

And I will never understand why the page where you update your current team shows last week's scores
And the page where you can see your current scores won't let you make updates to your team

Yeah same here, not feeling it... same as previous years. Will try stick at it though.
It just doesnt feel like it wants you to come back for more.

Shocking round for me with Taumalolo as captain and Latrell/Ramien underperforming again.

One of those overpriced CTRs is on the chopping block for Burns, and I think it's gonna have to be Ramien. Try scoring machine last year at the Sharks, so hopefully I don't regret it.

Taumalolo to Arrow and Ramien to Burns look good to me. Bit over 300k in the bank to turn Radley into a proper gun SR next week.

McCullough to Farah .... I'm working on how to get Farah and Sam Burgess in at the moment - I don't think it's possible.

Am I correct in saying we have one more week before the prices change, i.e. it's AFTER round 3?

Ok - it is possible .... I can trade Cook & Ofahengaue (both set to lose some coin) to Surgess & Farah (both set to make lots and with negative BEs)

What do you think .... short-termism?

This is your last chance to bring in people at their current price.

I am a bit dubious on Farah maintaining his current attacking output. Might be a short term boost and then trade to Cook/Smith

Thanks for the b/e list Milch. Pretty much the most important round for it.

Gonna bring bird and burns in this week. Currently have Smith but not sold on him in Supercoach

Sitting around the 1700 mark at the moment. This week's trades are Taumalolo>Surgess and Kahu>Bird or Burns

Was hoping to swap out one of Rava/Sivo/Simonsson for a better performing cow but that'll have to wait until next week now

Thanks for BE, so much info I needed.
Does everyone think Burns is going to be a keeper? I'm not convinced, but unsure why.

Won't last but I'm bringing him in. Will help close the $$ gap for an easy jump to cook.

Just eyeing what to do with some potentially failed cows this week. Sele/Rava/Sivo etc. Not much jumps out at the moment. I could just hold for another look/think.

I don't think he will be a keeper but he should make money for another month before reassessing.

My guess is Nikora and Bateman will be consistent ctrs for most of the season. Maybe Latrell for slot 3, and then its up to whoever is in form (or playing the bulldogs Razz ) for that final spot.

After trades my team is looking like this:

    Cook (Macca)
    Fifita, Taupau (Lawrie, Host)
Arrow, Surgess, Murray (Bateman, Garner, Burr)
    Morgan (Brown)
    Keighran (Cartwright)
Capewell, Bird, Burns, Nikora (CNK, Garrick, Ravalawa)
    Munster (Edwards)

521k leftover. Any weaknesses apart from 5/8s? I have a lot of dual position flexibility for trades, that was the whole reason I got Cartwright! I feel like its a fairly generic team but in a good way as I started with and have traded to the best value options. Edwards and a couple guns are set to lose value but 3/4s+ of my team will be making money and lots of it. Now it will be picking the right times and players to use that 521k war chest.

Thoughts, ideas, criticism is most welcome

5/8 only issue as you mentioned but that can be easily fixed by moving Munster down and trading out carty when the time is right. Could possibly look at Moylan if you still want that dpp to link up with Munster.

    My team for this week

    Cook / Mahoney (R)
Fifita Lane / Lawrie (R) Host
Jurbo Arrow Surgess / Murray (R) Garner (R) Sele
    DCE / Keighran
    Ponga / Brown
Bateman Bird Burns Nikora / Garrick Sivo Rava
    Tedesco / CNK
    (40k bank)

Tried to avoid the rookie halves issue. No Morgan also a bonus considering the injury concern and Clifford impact. Rookies need some tweaks....

    My team at the moments is;
    Cook B Smith
    Fifita Taupau Tatola Mikaele
JTrbo Arrow Murray Burr Ofahengaue Tom Eisenhuth
    Morgan Keighran Munster Brown
Nicoll-Klokstad Garrick Nikora Sivo Ravalawa Xerri  Simonsson
    Teddy Ponga

I think my trades will be Ofahengaue to Surgess and some CTW to Burns, is that the best idea or are there better, more creative options?
And who to trade Rav Sivo Xerri or Simonsson?
