Played Matterson and Garner over Mahoney/Lane/Sivo.

If only I'd predicted what would happen this afternoon could have had a great score

Damn, I was annoyed at Mahoney and Sivo (though was never playing him), throw Lane in there too and that's brutal.

Think I'll stick with my intended trades. Nikora, Garner and Okunbor to the bench for Cook, Haas and Xerri to come into the 17. Rava or Sivo can cover for CNK.

Kinda wish I could hold onto Mahoney, but have to get Cook at some stage and don't want to leave it too long.

You'd have had a better afternoon as well, going fishing or jogging or to the movies.

If Endgame was out already, would have been tempting to nick out at half time and watch that instead

Cost myself 52 points. 1146 all up. Will definitely see a drop in rankings. Bounce back factor for R7!

I lost my head2heads as Garner & Farah failed there HIAs.

1138 this week but too many bad decisions left lots of points in the non-scoring section

Damage wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Only dropped 1.8k with 1148, now 5.5k rank.

1,263 for me, lifted me to 2k ranking approx.

Looking at Gutherson and waddell this week. Going to start trading for the byes, think there will be a lot of places to make up looking at the top guys.

Garrick and Ravalawa out for Allan and Ponga my trades for the round. Started the season with Haas so not needing to make that trade in.

Locked in Host to Haas so far.

Getting cold feet on Mahoney to Cook with the BEs in mind. 14 for Mahoney and 53 for Cook, but will be playing either over Garner, so points matter too. Mahoney plays Rd 12 too.. decisions.

Hoping RTS is fit. CNK and Allan are my only back-ups and CNK in doubt too, so would cop an emergency if I move him down via Allan, only to lose him too and Allan will already be locked.

These are the spuds I'm looking at this week after 1 trade, 27 left and $505k bank:

    Smith, Mahoney
    Fifita, Vaughan, Klemmer, Haas
    Harris, Arrow, Murray
    Cleary, Ponga, Morgan
    Bateman, Capewell, CNK, Xerri
    RTS

    Bench:

    Nikora, Garner, Radley
    CHT
    Ravalawa, Sivo, Okunbor
    Allan

Quite a few guns already and plenty of money-makers. Does seem a fair bit quicker to build a team in SC, but at least not dealing with the incompetence of FailHub so far.

Looking solid man, jealous of your forwards haha. Not sure what's happened to me running so thin on my SR when it's normally stacked in NRL fantasy.

The backs/halves being so much more viable has thrown me for a loop.

Starting to think about upgrading Rava to Guthers this week. Leaves ~250k in the bank to maybe go Mahoney to Cook in one trade after this weekend.

Guthers can help cover my FB woes this week, or play him over Xerri at CTR if both are fit. Plays Rd 12 and can takeover Capewell's spot for when WGraham returns.

Just not sure how I feel about so many backs in my line-up or if that's the way to roll in SC.

Ehh having second thoughts about Guthers after looking at previous years (thanks again for that link lukeaye).

Currently averaging 77, over 600k and BE of 70.

    2018: 47 avg, 19 games
    2017: 67 avg, 18 games
    2016: 50 avg, 24 games

Feels like it might just be a purple patch and with contract negotiations ongoing, I have a bad feeling he'll drop off, especially if he ends up signing elsewhere.

I hear you, but you are forgetting one of the most important things.

Eels are actually good this year, and he plays 12

Yeah the Rd 12 thing started to tempt me. No Corey Norman either is a possible reason for Guther's improvement.

I think I should just target Tedesco instead though, origin be damned. Showing my SC rookieness not having him already it seems. Noticed he's averaged like 70 for the past 5 years and dropped in price this week with a 114 BE, so feels the safer bet with their prices getting close and Teddy's history.

Yes seems to pay to spend your money on good CTR, WFB and FB in SC.

Teddy is a great option, so is RTS. I think you need to have both. Gutho i like given he is at FB and he plays 12. Has been extremely consistent this year, has always been a good player in a bad team. Now a good player in a good team.

But I agree, get Teddy first.

Joey Leilua was my other target I wanted this week, but have put ponga as my priority.

Taupau vs Paulo is the only thing I'm weighing up atm.
Taupau and current mins is annoying. Raiders are 10th worst at points against 2rf (last 3 rounds) whilst Knights are 4th worst for frf (last 3rounds) Leaning towards Paulo.

Tough call leaving Taupau out. Minutes have always been the issue with him, but I'd be too worried about missing one of his boom scores to leave him out.

Paulo's going well though, averaging 61 and flying under the radar.

I'd probably be tossing up between Paulo and Haas, just because of Haas' limited sample, but I'd probably roll the dice on him and see if he can keep it up.

Gotta go with your gut though and if Knights are leaking points to FR, that helps justify the decision whatever happens.

I don't have jturbo or taupau looking at both instead of gutho.

But Then i look at gutho's run up to round 12. Eels are going to score a lot of points.

But the prices of Taupa and jturbo so tempting ahhhhhhhhhh
