Yes, and Surgess on the list! I was trading him, and expect him to be eliminated this week, but does the fact he was even named today, mean he is close?

    5th trade

    Havili - JTrbo
    or
    Lomax - Mitchell
    or
    Surgess - Taukeiaho

If I knew Latrell wouldn't play origin 3, I'd probably grab him. Maybe wait a week and get him next week if he isn't named.

I'm making Latrell a priority this week, tired of deathriding him.

CNK will be the one making way, so I'm looking at it like:

CNK: BE 91, definitely won't play 16 and probably not a keeper.
Latrell: BE 87, very good chance he'll play 16 and is a keeper.

I think Latrell only makes Game 3 if Tom Trb or Wighton get injured this week.. I'm a few acid tabs short of getting on Freddie's level of thinking though.

Kinda depends who you're trading out for Latrell whether to do it this week or next I guess. Could be a tough game vs. Storm, but he scored 86 vs. them in Rd 6, so never know.

I was surprised to see Sam named too. Souths were allowed to name 22 rather than 21 and there was talk of their player stocks being very low for Rd 12 with injuries to a lot of reserve graders and origin duties, so I wonder if he's just there for an outright emergency. Burns was named in the starting line-up after a lengthy set of injuries, so if Sam was really a legit chance, they could've just named him as a starter too I think.

Souths play first, so can find out for sure if he plays. Rd 16 takes the bye, but I'd expect him to play Rd 17 if he's somewhat close this week.

    Tough one.

I only just picked up Tauks last week, but happy to have him.

I'm desperate to get Latrell this week, but waiting could be a good move in your situation. Should be cheaper and safely knowing his origin status.

Havili I'm flicking this week with the 45 BE, but he scored a few 35s in ~25 mins earlier in the season, so may not lose much and Jake's 82 BE should see him lose a little too.

I'm targeting Jake for Rd 17, so all 3 look good to me, but leaning SST for the short term points gain and more info from waiting on Latrell and Jake.

Havili to SST might be better from a cash gain standpoint too?

Meanwhile I've made all 5 trades twice and had to reverse both times Mad

    Thinking now it will be:

Outs: Cleary, Harris, Flanagan, CNK, Havili.

Ins: Moses, Matterson, O'Sullivan, Latrell, Xavier Coates via Staggs to SR.

Leaves 8 trades and 127,600 in the bank.. assuming Coates gets added to the system.

Thanks, CNK would also be my trade for Latrell too. I find it hard to decide if he'll come out blazing to prove his skill or be distracted. Against Melbourne complicates it. SC isn't easy, eh?

8 trades isn't many, think carefully if you need to use all 5 this week. I always thought you needed at least 5 for finals rounds, and that is a fair way off

Yeah I was starting to wonder if 8 was enough Embarassed I think I'm safe for short-term injury cover/origin rests in a lot of positions, but turning the NPRs into red dots later could be a problem.

I'm still targeting Twal for the bye, Jake after and then cashouts to DWalker, Xerri and Staggs at some point, so that only leaves 3 trades beyond Rd 18, so I might need to re-assess that plan now that you've got me thinking about it.

For this week, Cleary to Moses and Harris to Matterson I feel I have to lock in. Need the cash from Flanno for those trades though and don't want to deathride SJ for an injury.

Latrell I really want back in, gutted that I traded him when I did and if not getting him, I'm not sure who to play out of CNK and Xerri. Need the cash from Havili to make that Latrell trade happen though.

After these 5 trades and having the cash ready for JFH to Jake, I feel pretty happy with my 17 and Fifita/JFH at 18/19 this week, so maybe I can ease up for a few weeks. Use 1 on Jake and have 7 left to dump a couple of bad emergencies and cover HB and 5/8 potential injuries.

*EDIT.. Actually JFH to Twal next week was the plan. Xerri to a red dot after Rd 16 for the cash to turn Staggs into Jake.. then maybe I can hold those last 5 trades to rid myself of Coates, DWalker and O'Sullivan if they become problem emergencies.

I'm actually thinking of brining in turbo... Not set on any trades yet.

Paulo, JFH, Arrow, Cleary and CNK will be traded out.

8 trades left after round 17 is heaps if you are playing for overall, which I assume most people on this site are going for.

I'll have 10 left after this week, which I am happy with. Team is mostly set, really just need JTrbo and a halfback, with maybe 1 or 2 other tweaks to my current 17

Coates in the system finally cheer

    Locking in my 5 too.

    Cleary to M. Moses
    Harris to Matterson
    CNK to Latrell
    Flanno to O'Sullivan
    Havili to Coates

Tough captain choice, but going for Cook vs. Tigers again, worked last time.

    8 trades and $134,600 remain

    (C)ook, Cam
    Haas, SST, Klemmer
    , Fifita
Taumalolo, Matterson, Murray, Taupau, JFH, Staggs
    Moses, Ponga, O'Sullivan, DWalker
Bateman, Nikora, Marsters, Latrell, Xerri, Coates, Aekins
    Teddy, RTS

Still hopeful of having 13 for next week if I get Twal for JFH.

Like the trades WTW. I've gone with (C) turbo.

I've got 11 for next week assuming no injuries. Looking at two more in next week. Have 12 trades remaining.

Thanks mate. Yeah been kicking myself for not starting with Matto. BE of 61, so could wait the week if you have other priorities.

Hard to pass on Tom with his form and 30 odd BE vs. Titans. Even his crap game vs. Cowboys was worth 62 in SC.

Could be costly going RTS (BE 82) to Tom after origin, but Xerri frees up a lot of cash provided he doesn't bomb too bad this week and next.

Not a lot of great cashout options getting around. Kris from Raiders, but doesn't play the bye. Coates hopefully will. Kerr was about the only forward I could find too, or like Rhys Kennedy or Carrigan. Maranta losing his spot. Field probably a horror emergency some weeks. Lam and Hutchison little chance with Keary returning.

Could be some more next week, but don't think I can afford the trade and risk of them possibly sticking around as a bad EME.

I think I've trained myself not to trade too much, so now that I have heaps left, I'm still loathe to confirm, lol. I've spent all day, and only used 2 of the 5!

Taking a punt and bringing Clark in now as a cash out. Surely you can’t go from 21 to starting prop to being dropped in 2 weeks right?

Yeah out of those forward cashouts I mentioned: Kerr, Carrigan and Kennedy, Clark now looks the best option. Mate of mine decided to throw Tino something something from Storm in too. Extended bench this week and I guess he's a chance with Kaufusi and Finucane out for origin.

I'm a bit wary this round of bringing in Storm players, with all their new signings, I'm not sure who is secure

Yeah I really haven't looked at any too closely. Was thinking about Finucane and Kenny Brom a few rounds ago, but decided against it. Finucane with origin now and Kenny's dropped off the past month.

Does anyone know if it's possible to reverse individual trades now that the round has started? Mate of mine only just started making trades after lockout, but now can't reverse even though no Tigers/Rabbits are involved.

I can't find any option to reverse Cleary to Moses for example.

Looks like you can't reverse any trades once the round starts.. but you can still make trades or switch C and VC around.. that's fucking dumb.
