Cameron Smith is a bit of a trap this year I feel.

Hmmm... operation find another 100k for Captain Cook it is!

I don’t like the sounds of us having to rely on tight tough games. I expect Cam Smith to still be a top 10 scorer but for me his main value is set and forget captaincy and do expect we’ll see more 70mins which for me is fine for any of your OTHER players, not your captain

From memory the explanation was that they are left side and right side specialists, so depending on who was injured, they would select the specialist for that side.

Round 7 and 23 it was Wade Graham being replaced, round 18 it was Luke Lewis being replaced so I don't think that was a huge factor

Stark reminder of the fact forums like ours are the minority.

Tolman is in just 7.2% of teams. At his price I’m yet to build a team without him. FrF a really difficult pricepoint this year. Just have to put a gun + Tolman in and see how it shakes out, making money through a gun downgrade if needed. I know it burns a trade but rather than money in the bank and a pure punt on minutes let’s take a week (not a TLT) to see how Twal TPJ Ofa JBrom LAM etc etc stack up. Needn’t gamble from week 1

Was looking at a thread for last season round 1.

800 would have placed you around 1,000th. I had 865 which was 32nd, first was around 900. Most here got in the mid to high 700s.

You want to construct a team that you think has a chance of hitting in the 800s if all your assumptions on player averages were correct.

How do people see Egan as a player? I really need a good sub 300k player on my bench, and from what I hear Egan is the go to. But will he get the minutes? And how does he get his points?

Yeah that case needs some work. Saddest part is your other man also in the picture if anything but reads worse than I’m sure it is... can’t believe she thought she was going back to his gaff for a cup of tea.

Early part of the story (and I know that club and all of those streets well back home) doesn’t sound like she was coerced in any way to go anywhere she didn’t want... she just pulled JDB at the club after all, who would be THE catch at Mr Crown!

On the brightside all those streets are very bright and populated, especially at the end of a night so the truth will certainly come out at the sort of interaction and relations they were having before their “taxi”.

Sad state of affairs either way. Horrifying if he’s in the wrong and shocking if this is worse than it was because he did something stupid and drunken like tell her to go home after they had their way. In no way trying to by cynical at a case of this severity but almost hoping she’s a nutter, not because I give a shit about JDB but because it’s just really beyond bad, and very sad if so

    That’s all. Laughing

    I don’t believe in 400k traps being a thing.

“Dud cow” might be better - or slower burn than should be due to bang average points.

Reserving trap for the likes of Cam smith or Watson or Ofa or LAM - someone that appeals at a higher price that is pushed at their expected/needed average OR could easily get their minutes wrong

Elliot Whitehead - from memory played a few games at ctr?  Should be guaranteed 80 mins, could possibly spend some more time at lock, plays the first bye.  The introduction of bateman should stop Whitehead having to shift out to ctr if there is an injury.  Im assuming Bateman would be the one to shift.

Also I think B Smith is cheap enough this season to consider.  Likely to be used as an impact middle forward as well as spelling Cam Smith if he gets an early rest.  I just think B Smith will get more minutes this year and if Cam Smith happens to miss any early games through injury you've got an 80 hooker in your squad ready to go.

CS9 never gets injured my friend, too good to. I think he'll play 80 all day every day also

Tk be honest, I can't remember how the Storm were using NAS toward the end of the year. With Glasby gone though, youd think Stimson gets big mins on the edge as they'll need to make up the slack in the middle.

Stimson has never exactly poured on the points. Where are they coming from?

This is a good article and I think sums it up. He will average 40 points and had good scores when he has an attacking game. Slow burn making $200k which is why I am not picking him up at the moment as I expect more from Whitehead. But a consistent 40 points is fine considering his price.

Always innocent until proven guilty but it looks bad for him and every man wants what he can’t have...
As for the bunghole stuffing and you being a stripper I have two questions.
    1. Did you enjoy it?
    2. I’ve seen what you look like Rabs, where did it all go wrong?

Got to find those rookie 2RF playing big minutes to match anywhere near Stimpson and his predicted score output

Stimson this year is Kaufusi the year he went big for the Storm
