Not sure those 3 are playing for 2 spots, there's a chance I guess but they didn't mention Oldfield who would have to be ahead (at least for the wing) you'd imagine. Emre is interesting but I'm not sure there is a "big minute role" up for grabs. Sutton, Papa/Tapine, Soli at least are gonna be in the middle and that's barely getting started. I don't doubt he might be in for a shot at the 17, he's good, I just don't think there is that many minutes to go around.

Completeley agree. Which of the following players is Emre Guler ahead of in the pecking order?

    Sutton
    Soliola
    Tapine
    Whitehead
    JBateman
    Papalii
    LBateman

Certainly he might be ahead of a few of them and get himself a bench spot. But enough for a big minute role? Doubt it at this point

Oh good. Finally. A decision that's dependent on Team List Tuesday. Now I have something to look forward to.

If this is the first decision that is dependent on TLT, does this mean you are ignoring the following as potential fantasy options? - Egan, Mahoney, Twal, DFifita, Radley, CNK, Sharks edge backrowers and the Raiders forward pack? Or are you confident in how they will line up?

Yeah, fair enough. I suppose I could also consider Allen, Burr, Fotuaika, Garrick, Hampton, Clifford, Sivo, Lomax, Ravalawa, Salmon, S.Mata, Mann, CHN, Drinkwater, Hughes and Carty.

Huh, how about that. It looks TLT may be important after all.

Ok, so after all that, why not build a cows team based on the assumption all that mob are starters?

    Mahoney
    Twal Fotuaika
    DFifita Sorensen Carty
    Salmon Mann
    Capewell S.Mata'utia
    Sivo, Drinkwater, Lomax

    Radley Egan CNK Garrick
    Allan Keighran Burr Ravalawa

Leaves a cool $2.13mn in the bank.

Yes, this team has some problems. The halves are weak. WFB could use a gun. There isn't a natural C choice. The second row is probably leaving some points on the table, and there's not a lot of cover on the bench.

But it would earn some serious coin.

I really like lui (and knew I was forgetting someone) after his efforts last year, but fantasy wise I can't see any reason he'd see more points. What's your line of thinking to be tempted by him?

I dunno really, he always played second fiddle prop behind the two that left. He the only recognised prop in the team that has experience. He fairly cheap, would obviously need more minutes just seems like a bench spot I can guarantee 30odd points with little risk and shift to a more obvious money maker if need be.

Thinking of running two players around this Range. Nothing worse than a cow going off and you have to downgrade another player that has future potential To fund a trade. If that makes sense.

Holland - "I was limited with my ankle and couldn't play too much. [In] The Bega trial we'll see more of where the positions are going to be."

I feel I'm way too busy these days with a job that I can't actually dictate when I do the work. Can I get a short answer. Who are the absolute must have cows this year? Like the ones everyone will have because they're likely to make bank.

    Cash Cow being >$350K

To be honest, other than D.Brown, A.Keighran and Z.Lomax everyone is pretty much dependent on TLT

There are plenty of players who will make bank if named come TLT like Egan if 80 minutes, M.Sivo for the Eels, C.Allan at FB in South Sydney.

Thats my 2nd row, but have Smith as hooker

Not seeing an upside in Lui. 0.66 PPM in the middle doesnt leave much upside, even if he got 10 extra minutes per game. Much better upside players available

Unless JMK is not on the bench, making Holland the back up hooker (and starting center), not worth considering.

The more teams I make with Keighran as a starting half, the more balance i can get throughout my whole squad with the likes of Cook, Arrow, Ramien, Tedesco/Turbo all in my 1-13

If if i go Macca instead of Cook i can even grab Cleary to partner Keighran instead of Croft/Morgan

Yeah if it’s possible and it’s only for 14-21 slot try and go for th player you actually like yourself because depth is a nightmare for fantasy. Surprise surprise the threat looks like creating trades needed at centre for some/all of us!! L Mitchell/Holland pairing and be done with that he’ll hole of a position
