I saw an article on Nate Roache, it sounds like he's the prefered option at hooker for the nz warriors.

I'm all over him, great attacking hooker, very fit. Over 2016 and 2017, he averaged 40.625 over 8 games playing 40+ minutes with 5 line breaks, 49 in 4 games of 2017. Small sample space but he looked great in the trial

Let's say Luke leaves, the question in the back of my mind is how many minutes at hooker does Jazz take off Roache? I can't see a Warriors team without Jazz in it

Tevaga is more of a lock these days as seen in the trial. Even if Roache play 50 and Tevaga plays a bit of hooker, Roache'll make decent cash if he starts

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 8
I suppose if Luke leaves, Mahoney just gets swapped for Roache. The warriors could drop Luke but I can see him making it back into the team if that happens.

Doesn't that give clubs more incentive to focus on preventative measures?
I am sure there are measures in place and education provided regarding account conduct, being a role model and so on but you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Not sure, but the Warriors have called an unplanned press conference at 10:00am NZT (ie 1 hour away). You'd presume this is about Luke leaving...

my tv broke wrote:Wacko tweeted that NAS started left edge with Stimson right, in the trial. Is that true? Kafusi will be right edge in round 1..
Edit: i just checked teamlists and eisenhuth definitely started left cos he was in the 12 and made a couple of errors.
It is actually interesting tho that stimson would trial in F Kaufusi's position
For what it's worth Stimson and Scott(both normally left side players) started the game on the right edge. A couple of teams seemed to do this in the trials with Josh Jackson playing left(normally right) and RFM starting on the right(normally left)

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 8
Roache has some really poor scores in 2016
6 in 34 minutes
3 in 31 minutes
17 in 73 minutes
0 in 7 minutes
Overall PPM was 0.46 for those that care about things.
How much game time are we expecting him to get if he does start in place of Luke? Bulk minutes like Luke used to or wil tevage play a lot of hooking time

Warriors are reported to be chasing half George Williams from the Super league, could this be the reason for the press conference?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 8
As someone pointed out on facebook - he has missed 2 weeks of football since August 2017.
I am sure you could compile similar lists for lots of other people if you wanted to list every time they had soreness after a game.

No one's mentioned him, and I understand why, but Curtis Sironen anyone?. Priced at a discount due to limited games last year. Priced at 31. Historically high 30's player. Runs a good line off DCE though. Would be thinking short term cash cow you can play on your bench?

Does anyone else think tries will be base stats for Fitzgibbon this year running off Ponga?

I read he was linked to the raiders from 2020 on a 3 year deal?
