Yeah good movie. saw it at the cinema so I must have been fairly young! A lot of his films mediocre but The Mask, Liar Liar, Truman show are stand outs.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is terrific. A wee bit more thought provoking than his usual.

Me Myself and Irene, Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber and the Cable Guy also come to mind for me. Quality open to interpretation with all slapstick humour I guess but I always get a laugh out of his movies. Liar Liar is definitely my favourite

I've only seen snipets, might have to give that one another watch. High praise from critics I remember.

It's a bit confusing first full watch, worth going back to it after a bit.

Before partying any thoughts knocking around on KAHU v BIRD

Sorry so uninspiring but final decision for me in pre TLT team.

Fullback with goalkicking (behind a great pack)
    Vs
Centre I hate looking at on my teamsheet but does have some potential to return to former glory under new management

None of the rookies taking your fancy mate? 212,000 with just as much chance to match/better both

Haha, watching those replays on fox just now. Round one Broncos v Dragons. Aitken and Nightingale two on one. Aitken draws and.... goes himself. He scores but the commentators pointed out that wasn't the best move.

Along the lines of what Welshy is saying, I don't think either are a good place to start personally.

The mid-priced Centre options (Capewell, Holand, Nikora) are looking strong with Lomax, Ravalawa as benched cows. Then in WFB there is also mid-priced options of Drinky, Watson and DEdwareds after Teddy, TTrbo, Pong (maybe RTS) followed by the cows of Hopoate, Xerri, Meaney, Abbey….

So I don't think either are a great shout myself. If I had to pick - Bird for me.

You said it, uninspiring. Like Welshy said, maybe get a cheapie in and spend it elsewhere.

Cheers fellas. Issue I have is my preference is Nikora from the cheapies but I already have Capewell. Also, bad job and minutes security with Sorensen proven and in waiting it seems.

Don’t fancy Lomax at all. Not for centre. Backup WFB emergency.

Maybe if I can stretch capewell to Holland then Holland/Nikora works OK

Capewell/Nikora for me if they line up like that R1. Brailey ain’t playing 80, So bench will have utility any sort of 60/80 split for Capewell and Nikora will provide 40/30 scores, perfectly fine for start of season, if Capewell is the 60 minute man I’ll jump on Holland or Hampton at same price. Easy beans

I wouldn’t get too caught up with only two forwards on the bench for the titans, they consistently brought Rein on last year and ran Peats at 13 so it won’t increase mins for Arrow, if anything it would increase the frf mins if they had a gun. Realistically though, they can play frf 40 mins each too. They’ve got James out there as cover from 8-13 and Brimson for the backs plus a hooker.

Leilua all day every day. If starting 2nd row is a must have. He is likely this seasons Kikau.

Before adding Leilua, I had already dropped Capewell, seeing better options available in the same spot.

    K. Sims is suspended for the first 2 games & has said he wants to play lock & in the trial he was probably the Dragons best forward playing lock. What happens to L. Leilua when K. Sims finishes his suspension & is available in round 3. He could be back to the bench.

I guess we'll have to wait until the Dragons actually name a team list rather than these annoying squad lists. Lomax strikes me as an archetype centre that probably wouldn't offer as much on the wing as Ravalawa, could be wrong.

I agree Lomax looked lost on the wing as if he didn't really know what to do. However the coach is Mary McGregor & he'll pick Lomax.

TPJ was ideal but looks a bit of a shaky pick. Leaves Taupau or Burgess. I’m currently taupau with weaker WFB than most

Great point GM. Would like to go into more detail on bench make up but page 50 probably isn't the best place for it

I've dropped Lomax altogether, but I'm happy to reconsider if he shows some promise in the charity shield
