Slow burn vs job security. Bench forward cows are never that great though, only Simmonsson/Allan left after that

Well from all accounts Burr played great in the trials (Yeah it's not the same blah blah) and Lisone does have a few penalties in him, I think he spent a bit of time in reserve grade last year?

Lisone strikes me like a Ukuma ta'ai (Spelling?) (Do you remember him?) type of player. Hard runs, tough to take down, but has consistent errors and more importantly gives away a few penalties.

I may throw him on the bench and hope I'm wrong, worse case he scores okay and may stick around long enough to eek out 100k

but can't see the role for him, IPap, Tevaga and sadly Blair both better options at lock. Then Harris has 1 edge locked down with plenty of options before him there. Blair could go into FR rotation and Lisone drops?

Roache could be the key, if Tevaga is seen more as a Luke replacement than lock and Roache disappears, Burr may carve a role but I'm not sure

It's Kearney though so who the fuck knows, could have Ashyford as a run on prop! The Pillock!

I've been out of the game a year so I may not be the best advice but I used to have around 50-80k spare to get rid of duds or jump on surprise packets.

Scaling up I'm starting with 200k in the bank. Maybe it's too much I don't know but if the cash doesn't need to be spent, just keep it for a rainy day.

Personally I'm going for the potential money makers, so all of Tolman, Twal and Gillett. And Bird also at this stage.
The best players for me are those priced below keepers that become keepers.

Some will argue Taupau has potential to earn some $ too though.

This post seems to have been lost in the TLT leading to first game frenzy.

So firstly it is good to see you still posting here. You are alive and have valuable advice.

    1. or Sivo. I don't trust that Eagles backline.
    2. When Havili comes on Hodgson could move into 2nd row and play 80.
    3. don't know but priced higher the Hodgson for a reason. Macca a option??

Connor Watson played 4 games at fullback in 2017.

    Sores of 69 (with a try), 48, 21, 60.
In those 4 games he made 33 TBs, and averaged 50. Something to consider.

Mahoney last year averaged 34 from 58mins. Even at 65-70mins there doesn't appear to be huge upside? 70mins has him a tick over 40 which is probably an ok result.

I think Tolman and Gillett out score Tapow and Sivo/Rava long term but who knows if they score a try with 3 TBs in rd1 it could blow it right up, the positive to that is they still are in your 21 and you make the cash.

He feels like he has a bit of improvement in him that isn't just based on extra minutes. Really impressive in the trial I watched as far as picking up extra attacking stats goes potentially.

Most of us umming and ahhing now but price v potential will get the better of me I reckon and I'll stick with him. Those Mahoney as primary Hooker teams we've seen though definitely have balls of steel.

Burr's probably out of a full strength Warriors team, but how likely is it that all 10 of the pack/bench are fit to play on any given week. We've already seen that he's first reserve to come into the back row.

Seeing Napa has made me realise I have no FRF cover! Suspect a lot of others here are in the same boat from what I've seen.
