Lawrie, Burns, Bird, Roache (could keep a 50 min role for more than a few weeks and if team winning), Mikaele, TMM, Egan, Staggs

As a Warriors fan, I want Blair in the Prop rotation, Papali'i to 2RF, and Tevaga on the bench, Burr to start at Lock, sub, then come on at 2RF.

That's definitely not what will happen though. Blair and Papali'i will play Lock and 2RF. Tevaga will spell whoever is Lock. Burr will likely spell Tevaga or the 2RF at the 60min mark. Best case scenario is if the last game showed Kearney that he deserves the start over Papali'i which I doubt because he loves Baby Papi and Jazz too much. Burr might also see some extra minutes from the bench if Tevaga moves to Hooker to spell Roache but that should only be for another week.

How do you see Burr staying in the team?

    8. Bunty/LAM
    9. Luke
    10. Blair???
    11. Papali'i
    12. Harris
    13. Burr

    14. Burr
    15. Roache
    16. Tevaga
    17. Lisone/Paasi/Bunty/LAM?.... only one prop on the bench? Do you think Roache gets dropped completely?

I just can't see Kearney going with that set up.

    8. Bunty
    9. Luke
    10. Paasi/LAM
    11. Blair/Papa
    12. Harris
    13. Blair/Papa

    14. Tevaga
    15. Roache
    16. Lisone
    17. LAM/Paasi

no room for Burr. No way he gets in ahead of Tevaga who is killing it in the middle when he comes on these days.

Cheers @Krump, I'm just wondering on minutes and job security for Lawrie & Host. Anyone got some insights or data on these two. Let's assume Sims steps into Lock and Friz is out for 4 weeks, who wins the minutes roulette between them. Not to mention L.Leilua waiting in the wings, I'm guessing Mary may need to add some attacking firepower to his forward rotation.
    Questions galore.

Holland to Bateman seems like an upgrade so why I am not fully committed to it.

Is it because I don't want to burn trades early and keep the faith or is it me being too stubborn to want to admit Holland was a POD pick that didn't fire?

Kinda sucks Seles chances of being a good cashie have been hindered by that score. Will be a slow burn until there's another injury in the pack.

    Opt 2: Garrick & Sivo > Bird & Lawrie

Depends if you want to hold Holland, I think we all can see huge upside to Bateman, but Holland could still gun it at Ctr.
Are you prepared to double trade him back in later?

You'll make coin on Bird & Lawrie (depending on what Dragons forward rotation looks like), but Bateman could end up being the number 1 gun Ctr of the year and he won't be this cheap again.

I'm getting Bateman in this week, just a toss-up between Lawrie & Host for me.

Well who can you trade to? You seem to be in a position where there's little wriggle room to get rid of duds, only downgrades.

Too early to call duds on anyone but you might need to sideways trade just to pick up cash for upgrades.

My issue is trading out 2 players who underperformed, but still met (Napa) or were just below (Holland) their break evens, vs being stuck with two 212k players who failed.

Sele not injured changes my trade plans as now I don't have to trade him which is sweet. Now I'm thinking of getting rid of Mahoney who didn't really impress me yesterday & without the try & attached attacking stats would of scored pretty ordinarily. Plus the fact that he doesn't look like playing 80 minutes, in fact the N. Brown injury probably gifted Mahoney extra minutes.
