    If he fails, just keep him until someone like Lomax gets their shot. When you have a bottom price dud, it's not urgent to get rid of them unless they're an AE nightmare.

    Is AE even still a thing under the new system? Regardless unless there's a must have I'll just keep him.

    I wondered whether you would be back. Seemed to have a bit of rough luck this week mate. Chin up. Mahoney was unconvincing but I guess James was too. Hope he comes right for you, who are you looking to pick up for Brown?

    trading Holland out is easy for me because i was never fully invested in him, there was something there i didn't like and every time i needed to free up cash to try something he was the first person i'd dump, then i'd look at some stats and read some arguments and put him back in but was never overly happy with it, was even trying to get him out after Bird and Nikora went large, but i was very weary of panic-trading myself into regret... Edwards i only went with because i felt like i should have at least one luxury WFB, Don't think that's nessecary if Ravalawa continues to rack up TB's like they're going out of style, so I'm going with Holland -> Bateman & Edwards -> Ravalawa, gets me a (hopeful) keeper, a good-looking cashie and the money i need to put Macca and Arrow on notice, there is now a spot in my team waiting for a 70 min Fifita next week.

    Generally going to be harder to loop a forward than a back, as you are more likely to have forwards in positions 14-17

    People binning Holland already? That seems very harsh. His team lost by 34 and he didn’t get much ball. Surely you give him at least another week

    Blair is a better Prop than 2RF or Lock. I'm not talking stats here, just real life observations, but he's lazy af when he plays big minutes and it was fcuking me off on Saturday. He also doesn't have the lateral movement for nimbled footed edge runners. He needs to be in the middle to bring some fire to the middle but shouldn't be on for longer than 40min

    No, he really isn't. His best days were on the edge, because that's what he is.

    At prop he rarely does much with the ball in hand. He doesn't get metres, he doesn't take many runs, he doesn't like doing it, he doesn't bend the line. He's an average prop at absolute best. He doesn't "bring the fire" at least not in attack.

    Moving him back there to go back to getting 40-50 metres of ineffective running a game is not making the most of his abilities at all.

    The Bulldogs looked fucking terrible though, i'd suggest that situation will happen far more often than a situation that's beneficial for him scoring points

    I'm keeping Dutchy, $433K at the moment (Priced at 29). I think he will average 40+ by seasons end, plays round 12, loves an offload, goalkicking, average of 2 missed tackles last year instead of 5 against Kata. Scored 25 points whilst team lost 40-6. Not sure it can get worse. He will jag the odd try and then suddenly his average is 40+ and you have made a heap of cash.

    Next two games against Eels and Tigers should be free flowing.

    Looking to bring in Morgan and Bateman. The three candidates for the chop are Alvaro (a failed POD) and either Radley or Holland. Who out of those two would you keep?

    Alvaro could go huge this week, no Terepo or Brown

    Would love some advice I am stuck between two options.

    Option 1
    Radley -> Mahoney
    Garrick -> Lawrie   $16k ITB

    Option 2
    Radley -> J.Bateman
    Garrick stays for now $19k ITB for HAAS trade in a few weeks.

    Current team

    Cook
    Fifita, tolman
    Arrow, Gillett, Murray
    Morgan, Keighran
    Nikora, Hollland
    Ted, Burns, Edwards

    Radley, Garner, Host, Burr
    D. Brown, Garrick, Sivo, Ravalawa
    $141 ITB

    Which option do you like, Or what other trades do you think are required?

Now I'm thinking of getting rid of Mahoney who didn't really impress me yesterday & without the try & attached attacking stats would of scored pretty ordinarily. Plus the fact that he doesn't look like playing 80 minutes, in fact the N. Brown injury probably gifted Mahoney extra minutes.

    Mahoney was part of an Eels side that dominated the Panthers for most of the game, he'll definitely get more tackles going forward.

    Agree. In 6 games last year of over 40 mins on the park he averaged 42 tackles per game.

    I think its very unlikely that 30 tackles becomes his norm.

    Fifita Taupau
    Lolo Arrow Murray
    Keighran Brown
    Holland Nikora
    Watson Edwards Burns
    R: Lane Niukore Garner Roache
    E: Lawrie Burr Ravalawa Sivo

    Only 33k in the bank.

    Put Rava/Sivo in for Watson. Trade him out for Host. Upgrade elsewhere?

    Geez, no gun hooker or half.... ballsy or stupid... if ballsy then I reckon its Tyson Frizell ballsy in retrospect.

    Hearing the roosters will offload that dud who's spot he claimed, to upgrade Aubbs to a mil a year.
