Would reckon Bateman goes 2rf if Tapine out. Canberra have plenty of middles and Bateman's spent most if his career in 2nd row. Might limit his scoring but still should be 40+ for a centre.

I don’t have much to go off and your opinion helped me not do anything stupid to force him in this week
I do gravitate towards players I like and he seems just on the right side of the psychopath competitive grub line to be impressively scrappy
At some stage he will be in most teams but I agree he’s not a desperate in
