I have a very solid collection of dud cows at the moment, and Capewell is definitely not one of them. So, why the balls is the only trade I'm thinking about this week, at the moment, Capewell > Bird. I really don't want to do it, and if I could get rid of any of those other duds I would, but none are close to his price and I don't have the bank balance. It's already definitely one week too late, but I feel like this is definitely the last week to hop on Bird if it's going to happen at all and I can't see any other way to get him.
Worried about the likes of Host, Burr, Rava and Sivo all possibly being left out on TLT, or delegated to a couple of minutes off the bench next week. A week of real concern, I see ahead.
As for people looking to upgrade to Tedesco next week... don't know what his BE is yet, but surely he's still got thousands left to lose?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 21
As much as I want to rage Twal back in I might just do offa to Bird and have a bank for Teddy the week after and Crichton.
Does leave me with Fifta and Lawrie as my front row but I’m willing to take risk. I think Lawrie will still do well even from the bench

Well as long as Morgan is healthy then you are playing him.
It also seems a waste not to play one of either Keighran 40avg & Brown 39pts regardless of their consistency
Bound to be other spots to fix up first than benching both cheap rookies, especiallly when money is tight and can be used elsewhere
Also it is mitigated due to the popularity of this combo(so just means you can almost forget what they score for now)
So as much as I want to spend money on this position, for their price it is still hard to replace
Just means you are simply shuffling money from one position to another and creating new problems
If you started with 2 guns then fair enough, I won't be ripping my team apart though

I have enough cash right now to turn one of the rookie halves into anyone bar DCE. I think I can run the halves roulette a little longer and milk as much cash I can though.

I cuurently have Bursn, Bird, CNK, Garner, Capewell, Morgan, Nikora and Lawrie. Am i missing anyone. Cheers.
A few I would love to have started with knowing what I know now, but can't justify adding to my team at this point:
Twal, Tamou, both getting the minutes they need and showing they can play well
Keary, if Cronk is out for a while
Others in my team that I am pleased I selected:
Katoa - nicely awkwardly priced now for others to jump on
Mahoney - looking good, especially if minutes increase at some point
Arrow - going to be a gun if he doesn't get injured again
Hughes - proving to be pretty consistent in the nightmare WFB spot. Looks good next to Katoa and Burns for me
Bateman - less likely for others to jump in if named at 2RF this week, happy with the consistent scores he will bring in at CTR every week, partnering Nikora

I've got Munster in my halves, which I could trade for Teddy if I put Hughes from WFB into my halves.
Not sure about this move, as it feels a bit sideways ... but we are talking about Teddy at a discount.

Got 888, and went from beyond the 15,000 to around 2300. An improvement.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 21
895 and 854 in the first two rounds leaves me at 697th overall, I did not expect to be this highly ranked already.
Thoughts on potential trades this week? I'm thinking of selling Capewell to Bird or Edwards to Hughes, but not sure if there's anything else I should do. I'm 5K short of Capewell->Bird and Host -> Lawrie, if I could afford that trade I'd do it for sure
my team is:
Cook (c)
Host, Fifita
Arrow, Murray, Lane
Munster, Morgan
Capewell, Bateman
Edwards, CNK, Burns
Mahoney, Nikora, Garner, Keighran
DBrown, Garrick, Ravalawa, Sivo
$25K ITB

You need a front rower so you can fuck Host off.

I agree on Edwards to Hughes, Capewell to Bird is not bad either.
Have you thought of Lawrie? or are you happy to give Host another go?

Had a bit go against me this round but still ended up at 96th overall. Not too shabby
Not sure if I see clear trades this week unless friend or sironen require replacing
Who are the key cash makers this week? Bird, lawrie, Nikora but I have the latter 2

I know, but the only one that seems any good that I can afford is Flegler, and I'm not sure he stays in the team when Haas and Lodge come back. He's an absolute weapon so I think he should, but I'm not sure.
As it stands now, I'm doing the following.
Capewell to Lawrie (moving Bateman down to CTR and Lane to start at 2RF)
Host to Flegler.
This trade is contingent on Lawrie being named at lock with K Sims on the bench, if that doesn't happen I'll get Jack Bird instead and have to play Flegler every week.

Edwards to Hughes is pretty sideways IMO.
For me, Holland to Bird looks good. Have Morris there too, might cash him out to Xerri. Kid's surely bound to get a game later in the year. Wonder what the story is on Feki.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 21
usually come out the gate strong with trades, but i'm not seeing it this week, only got 816 this week, but that had a lot to do with making the wrong choice with literally every one of my decisions on who to leave out of the 17 (Keighran over Brown, Rava over Kahu and Sele at 18th man over Bird), team going into this weekend at the moment is:
Friend
Vaughan Tolman
Arrow Murray Lane
Morgan Brown
Nikora Bateman
Burns Kahu CNK
Macca Gillett Garner Bird
Capewell Sele Keighran Rava
I'm set on Sele to Waddell, but can't see anything to do with the second trade, maybe Capewell out to a new cheapie if someone pops up on TLT, if only for the money i'll need to jump on Teddy and Crichton in the very near future, unless some-one sees something i don't
