He scored 37. That is higher than his long term average at centre.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. Some of you people have completely unrealistic expectations of your fantasy players.

I know I’m happy with him he scored 47 above his BE

He's a dud this year, don't bother trading him and anyone who has him in sportsbet should just drop him to Free agents.

I think I'll bring him in next week or the week after. Along with looking to bring in Bateman probably around then it should fix my team by bumping it up to 4 Raiders in the starting 17.
Is that a sportsdeck typo or have sportsbet started their comp again?

That is a good possibility too. SK said after the Wests game that the team was lazy. I think 1 of the players he was referring to was Blair. It makes sense to move him into the front row rotation because he's useless & does nothing on the edge so imo he's better in the middle where he has to pull finger & do some work.

Yeah he pisses me off tbh. Gave away pointless penalties and kept the pressure on.. Have him on for 40min hard defensive slog, then get someone on that wants to actually play

I hope I don't get that security certificate issue today. Yesterday it happened mid to late morning & I never got back on until just before the game.

Surely  people didn't expect 50's every week from Bird?

I was keen on a 35 average from him in pre-season. From what I've seen, he could push closer to 40. But he's still going to have low scores. 37 aint even bad.

Scorers never picked up Lawrie's TB.
I am not even griping as an owner, I just feel sorry for him- it might well be the only bust he makes in his career and they missed it!

They do additional updates after all the games are finished before lockout finishes so you might see his score change at the end of the weekend

I'm pretty stoked with Bird's score. If you offered me a 47 average from a sub 300k centre before round 1 I would have taken it and run

That guys the worst though. Now I feel bad slagging off Gillett who tackled a bunch when that clown Host was on the pitch for 80mins

My 1 trade of host to Lawrie was a bit sideways/meh as I originally thought but I went through with it. Gained 7 points and higher cash with Lawrie than host but used my funds to remove tolman, so hoping he lives up to his potential and gets more minutes

Host is a classic case of real life not translating to fantasy. He's not that bad really. How many players on fantasy are miles better than they are in real life?

Miles better in real life: Green, Foran, Keary, (semi common theme)

Miles better in fantasy: Basically anyone who runs sideways
