What trade option do you like:
    (a) Capewell out - Surgess in or
    (b) Burr out - Twal in or
    (c) Burr out - J. Bateman in or
    (d) Sele out - Twal in

    Thoughts & thanks.

More seriously, don't think Bateman is an urgent trade in on the edge. Also I don't think there is any need to ditch Capewell now.
Burr looks to be a better short term and medium term option than Sele.

So Sele - Twal of those options is my preferred

with the Rein news I may bring forward my teddy trade to this week. If rein goes well, allows me to do macca to rein and upgrade gillet with the cash!

Just going to put in a disclaimer here, for when Rein does score 21 this week.

Everyone is pretty mad keen on Rein right now. But if you put him in your team due to the plethora of tooting and chugging going on right now, and he then stinks it up, don't come blaming us.

If you don't think he'll score well, don't make the trade. You don't have to follow the crowd just to feel cool.

My one opportunity to be cool snuffed out already...

After hours of deliberations, the verdict is in, I will not get Rein (this week)

I jumped on Rein straight away last year & the risk paid off but last year when Rein came into the team the Titans team was on a bit of a run & were hitting form so Rein benefited with attacking returns. This year the Titans are struggling a bit with no halves & they are up against Souths this week so I can't really see Rein getting those 50 scores like last year. Plus I want confirmation of the scan results re Peats.

I've got Burr atm but looking at the Warriors bench, he should be getting decent minutes this week. Surely Blair has to move to the middle. I'd go Sele to Rein though. Unless you're planning on using that bank elsewhere

Ya know, likely that James finally gets that try from a Rein short ball....

Yeah, think I will, only issue is I need to sell Burr as I am $35k short.... but potential of cash/pts from rein outweighs Burrs short term potential I think

I'll probably do Ham and Salad to Rein.  Gives me an hour to think about it between Pamfus lock out and Titans first cut/changes.

What about Hughes, Moylan or Wighton instead of Katoa?

I could reverse my only trade of Holland>Surgess and get Rein or get Rein in second trade for Capewell or Tolman in 14-17 or for Croft and play Keighran/Brown in my 17

Don't really want to reverse the Surgess trade as think he will kill it in attack coming weeks with easy fixtures

I dont have enough cash to upgrade someone like Kahu to Rein so id have to use someone around the same value like Sironen.

Still think Sironens got around 100k to make albeit slowly, so trading him to Rein who might make 200k before Peats gets back really only puts me about 100k in front and id have to use another trade to move him on. Could probably trade Mahoney as he's got less to make?

So im probably going to wait a week and maybe trade Macca or Mahoney to Rein next week. Is this the right way to look at it? Or should i just grab a ticket and jump on board!!!!

If Katoa feels right to you I get why you'd go him. But base stats averaging 16 or thereabouts. Games where he doesn't score are probably going to be disasters (don't tell mattnz I said that please Very Happy ).

Out of the other options Hughes for me.

Just wait the week. I'm looking best case scenario he hits a 65 off the bat, that's a $40k increase. Not impossible to deal with and potentially lose some good coin

Tolman- looks like more minutes with the re-jig
    Capewell- safe 40s (unless there's a mid-game injury)
Croft- going to make decent coin and give you reliable points at an annoying position

Gee Souffs do have an easy month don't they! Nit looking at Surgess as base stats average, but tries might be a base stat for him over the next month.

Yeah. Rein defs able to be waited on. For me I can do it in 1 trade this week so might take the potential points, but risk v reward might suggest we wait a week.
