Just watched that Xerri announcement video. That’s fantastic. Nice feel good and what it’s all about after a pre season of nonsense in the game. Want to give the kid a call up myself now!

Burns a sell for me purely because it allows me to keep Friend and a week or 2 injury keeping a potential 50+ point player is a need for me at my current pace

Lol hadn’t even thought of Burns and Keighran to CHT and Rein. Would that make more sense? Mahoney could be downgraded next week to free up money for upgrades. Would be a headache choosing a bench though lol

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
I wanted Bateman this week so I'm just going to pass on Tedesco/Ponga & play my bums (Sivo & Ravalawa) instead for this week before upgrading my wfb next week:
Keighran out - L. Lewis in
Burns out - J. Bateman in
Both Lewis & Bateman play round 12 as well & I'll probably move Munster to A-Rey before round 12.
I've captained Cook but I liked the idea I read earlier re Bateman (c).
Cook (c)
Fifita, Lawrie
Arrow, Lane, Murray
Munster, L. Lewis
Bateman, Nikora
CNK, Sivo, Ravalawa
Mahoney, Capewell, Garner, Burr
Bird, Sele, D. Brown, A. Hopoate

Is it possible to work out what team would have been the theoretical best under salary cap up until now?
I had a run at it and the following cap compliant team gets you 3,051 points:
Farah (c)
Tamou, Surgess
Finucane, Murray, KBrom
DCE, Keary
Marsters, Bateman
CNK, Oates, Pereria
Lawrie, Napa, Nikora, Bird
+ 4x 212k players.
I'm sure someone could do better but that would put you 343 points ahead of the leader.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
I can't remember being this undecided about trades. So many potential options and trade-offs with each.
Potential trade ins are: Tedesco, Rein, Xerri or Cartwright.
Potential trade outs are: McCullough, Keighran, Brown, Burns, Mahoney and Kahu.
At the moment, I've gone McCullough and Keighran to Rein and Cartwright. Leaves me $277k in the bank. Gives me the best potential value increases. Could then bring in Tedesco and Xerri next week. But it means playing 2 of Rava, Kahu or Garrick in my WFB this week.
I'll probably change around various trade combos another 50 times before tomorrow.

Short-term pain for long-term gain.

That's the way I'm leaning. If I bring in Tedesco instead of Rein, I probably miss $20-$30k of extra price increase.

3058 from this lot
Robbie Farah (c)
James Tamou Dylan Napa
Sam Burgess Cameron Murray Kenneath Bromwich
Daly Cherry-Evans Adam Reynolds
Briton Nikora John Bateman
Jordan Pereira Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad Corey Oates
Dale Finucane
Luke Garner
Jack Bird
Blake Lawrie
That is playing the same 17 every week. No trades, no changes between subs.
No doubt you could get even higher by including trades/etc, but it starts getting too complex to work out.

A week ago Burns, Keighran and Brown were all fit.
(as well as less popular players like Friend, Widdop, Moylan)
I daresay most fantasy/SC players have had their original trade plans for this week thrown into doubt.

Being Irish he's probably a good catholic and not allowed to use protection, so you will be relying on the pull out method.

No, not much if it involved making an extra trade. But if I'm likely to bring both of them in - one this week and one next, the extra cash this week can be the thing to tip me one way or the other.
Difficult to know who'll score better this week. Tedesco has more potential to go BANG, but probably expecting about the same scores while Rein plays 80 (assuming he does). Or am I way off?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
Despite losing both matches last year Teddy managed 64 and 71 against the Broncos. I think he'll do pretty well.
