Hughes holding his value, I'll be upgrading him to Ponga after round 5StormTrooper96 wrote:After a much better round this week back up 2500 spots to around 2500 after being inside the top 600 for the first 2 weeks. Not sure where to go here Hughes looked much more involved in the second half, Morgan saving himself. Edwards and Brown my only worries at the moment with gillett’s alrught score.

Preliminary trades:
Lane to Ponga - Means I don't have to play cheapie lottery in my WFB every week
DBrown to either Okunbor or CHT
I like your trades too, Ponga is a good pickup
I'm going with CHT over Okunbor this week, both great cashcow options

For those of you not feeling to happy with your score this week I'll admit to 775 before updates.
I won't go into how this score happens and I apologize if me scoring 775 further depresses you.

I would have hit 900 if I captained Fifi over Bateman, but I'm happy still
Just won my H2H in L51 (pending updates), sitting in 2nd with 4 wins

Yeah, I guess right there, would be a free 29 points. That certainly would have helped me too.

With K Sims gone, surely Lawrie gets more mins or at least doesn't lose mins?

916 for the round, moving up 1007 spots to 322 overall.
Planned trades:
Keighran to Okunbor
Host to CHT
Currently, only 40k itb, so gotta build up the funds.

Dragons injuries:
- Per reports suspected forearm fracture for Korbin Sims, if confirmed usually a 4-8 week recovery range
- Jacob Host also left with an ankle injury, video unclear so hard to analyse - nrlphysio

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 29
I'll be waiting a week on Ponga, break even should be in the 50's(which he is capable of) while Xerri and CHT are likely to go 30 odd points above their BE. Purely for cash it makes sense to grab them first
Edwards>Xerri and Brown>CHT
Going to leave me with way more cash than I would ever like to be holding not scoring me points but with a few guns ripe for the picking it's a good spot to be

That's what I was alluding to earlier and thought the same thing at half time but wasn't the case. Maybe those two out from kickoff though next week might change things but if Host if out, you'd think Leilua would come in but probably from the bench. If anything Vaughn and Friz would benefit moreso as they did today. I still will hold Lawrie though and wait and see, as he'll probably keep the starting spot with Friz on the edge, if Host is out.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 29
Probably looking at 2 downgrades like some others to generate cash
Keighran, Brown to CHT + Okunbur/Xerri
Alternatively could do Keighran + Whitehead to Haas + Ponga, but that leaves my last INT spot a bit shaky so might opt for the cash generation strategy

So you are thinking Frizz to edge for Host, Lawrie starts and get 50 minutes with Sims gone?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 29
For those picking up Okunber, you'd surely have to look at it for his future cash generation as he'll probably jump after today and a Brown/Keighan trade to him won't net that much you would think.

Fair possibility all off season the talk was K. Sims to grab the Lock role when he returned. Could be the case. Could also have Lawrie end up out there which would mean he keeps his minutes but a dubious work load and would make me bench him but not trade him.

If Host is out aswell, there's no reason Lawrie can't secure 50 minutes. He's damn solid out there. Nothing flash but reliable. If he get an offload in his game he could be a bit of a weapon.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 29
Lane to Ponga an easy trade for whoever kept that spud like me this week, it also means I don't have to play rookie WFB roulette anymore with Teddy, Ponga and CNK at WFB.
Crichton and Rein will have to wait because I refuse to play either Rava or Garrick anymore. In round 2 I played Rava and this week I played Garrick. Get fucked twats.
