That would be gold if Brown reappears from the dead.

Is Rein still an urgent buy with Mahoney playing 80 mins and then foregoing 2 of CHT/Okunbur/Ponga
Initially was planning on removing Mahoney, but should he get a stay of execution for the foreseeable future (R12??)
Trade plans:
(1) Cash injection - Brown + Keighran to CHT + Okunbur (Whitehead to Ponga next week)
(2) Gun + Cow - Brown + Whitehead to Haas/Xerri + Ponga
(3) Underpriced + Cow - Brown + Whitehead to CHT + Moses
(4) Whitehead + Keighran to Rein + Okunbur
Looking at your team mate, I think you need a solid WFB to join Teddy and CNK rather than playing roulette with Sivo, Garrick, Ravalava.
Bring in CHT for HLF cover.
Keighran -> CHT
Whitehead -> Ponga
P.s unlucky with the L :-P

I like getting Rein in now - price you will pay for points you will get is hard to pass up and he has proven fantasy pedigree.
I personally don’t see the huge appeal of Okunbur.
2 weeks ago we were all talking how awful the bulldogs have been - a few changes but I’m concerned they don’t keep up this current run of form and he has a few quiet games. If he was available at wfb my opinion would probably be different.

Anyone looking to ditch Garner this week? It opens up a few more options for me if I jump off.
I'm a little spooked by those injuries etc but he is a machine. Dunno...

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 30
I'm a pretty smart guy, I have a great job, earn more than I probably should, work in finance. Life is good and pretty stable.
I have however, always wanted to work in Switzerland for a Swiss Investment bank, I'm thinking about moving next year to join a Swiss academy for 12 months and see if I can get a job on the front desk, maybe work my way up.
I honestly couldn't dream of anything better than one day being a "Swiss Banker".

The team needed the loss I think, put them on notice. Bloody 5k short of those moves, was super close to leaving the Carty Party before it started. I think 1 more week of WFB roulette by going with (1) might be the best move

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 30
Weird question but putting in sample numbers for players and testing Whitehead on nrlfantasy.com.au
Last week: Got 36 with 43 BE and dropped 12k
This week: If he gets 36 with 44 BE he only is projected to drop 1k
How does that work? (@ MTB)

I think you will regret it. Decent BE, lots of upside still even if he just averages just 40 from here, which I would be surprised at.

BE always going to be inexact and depend on the dollar per points you assign is (generally around $15k) I assume this is the reason (mtb using a slightly different number to failhub)

I kept Brown over AK6 last week. Brown works good for looping as they play last this week so hoping he is named next week instead.

DWZ is ridiculously cheap if he gets FB. His scores don't scream get me, but his form in the test matches was impressive.mattnz wrote:
Watson is going to be a seriously cheap pick up at some stage.
Sounds more promising for Brown than the 8 week number earlier, feeling good about holding brown and Burns at the moment.
Someone mentioned DWZ at fullback earlier, really want him in at $300k, playing round 12 too, should be great value. If he had got fullback at the start of the season he would have been in my team at $415k.

Just scanning DWZ at FB numbers from last year he probably averages about 35. An interesting option
Hopefully we hear about brown before thursday as he's on my trading block

Despite heated denials over the past two weeks, former Test forward Trent Merrin is set to quit English club Leeds and return to the NRL.
Merrin will come back home as a result of ‘personal reasons’ just months into a rich four-year deal with the Rhinos.
Merrin does not have an Aussie club at this stage but is most likely to end up at the Dragons to replace suspended forward Jack de Belin.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 30
If Brown is named this week I am tempted to forgo CHT and weigh up my options with Haas/Okunbur or any other cow thats pops up. Okunburs BE is quite juicy and is averaging over 200metres per. Looks to want to get very involved and Dogs are starting to shift everything down that edge. Bit shattered Holland finally shown what he can do but I had to get rid of him when I did. The only thing with the doggies is the last two weeks the have been competitive and in the games till the end - which has shown in their fantasy scores. The first two weeks they were run off the park and their scores suffered.
