Raspberry or cola all day
Me the sicko, Raspberry is good but Cola is the el cheapo knock off that tastes like it is actively giving you cancer.

Either trade in ponga & crichton or Bateman & Xerri?
Thoughts?

Bateman and Xerri.
Ponga won't rise in cash much and I would want to see the Aubusson effect on Crichton first.

The reporter spoke with Siebold about Staggs who said "Its his jersey to lose" at 31:00 minutes https://www.9now.com.au/nine-news-brisbane/2019/episode-100

Can't be bothered signing up to watch the vid but when Roberts is fit I daresay he walks back in. Don't really buy the "his jersey to lose" thing honestly when this is James Roberts we're talking about, we need him fit and in the 13.

+1 for Bateman and Xerri.

There are a number of potential routes for Staggs staying in the 3 jersey long enough to make him a good trade in:
1) James injury is "indefinite" and happened to coincide with him getting in trouble
2) Staggs is preferred and the jersey is his to lose as Siebold is quoted as saying
3) They can move Bird to halves or lock, both problem positions

He was running around at a school clinic today with kids so it's not like he's restricted to jogging on the sidelines. The injury he has will be there the entirety of the season, so there's no point resting him because it won't just disappear. He's been lazy with the rehabilitation side of things and the exercises he was given to improve the injury.
I would be surprised if he hasn't received a rocket this week to get his shit together. If he still decides to be a lazy twat and get drunk all the time then yes Staggs is a buy because Roberts won't be at the club anymore. Too much uncertainty for me at the moment. Staggs needs 3/4 weeks to be worth a buy and no one knows how long he will be there for.
Could be a great buy, could be a dud buy if Roberts is back in 2 rounds.
Strongly considering bringing in meaney and Ponga next week to fix up my half issue.Blain wrote:Going AK to CHT for cash + cash making, then upgrading Host to a solid Gutho. Or, taking a risk on Meaney, Cotric or Gagai. Will give me more cash to upgrade Edwards next week.
Anyone thinking Meaney also? Seems a tidy player, played 6 NRL games with relatively consistent scoring. $150k cheaper than Gutho, would help me get Ponga next week.
Cheers for that. Don't think I'll run the risk bringing him in this week if theres no news tomorrow as Gillett is the player I'll need to trade out. Will pick him up ponga next week.mattnz wrote:The latest on Ponga https://outline.com/wTygV7

I quite like the opportunity, means most stay off until too late to bring in for value.
That's what I'm thinking too.Welshy wrote:
If Ponga is quieter than usual, Gillett should be able to get around 40-45 so shouldn't lose too much mate
