I've had more time to look at my team this week and I think it's actually made it worse. Round and round in circles. Figured it can't hurt to post and hear some thoughts. Here's my squad.
McCullough
Fifita, Taupau
Murray, Bateman, Garner
Cleary, Morgan
Nikora, Bird
Sivo, CNK, Rava
Rein, Tolman, Capewell, Lane
Carty, Garrick, Brown, Kahu
CONCERNS:
- Garner might be on a downward trend after his Rd3 injury.
- Cleary isn't playing like a gun.
- Rookie WFBs are annoying to pick in 13.
- Why did I pick Carty last week instead of CHT?
- Kahu sucks. Sucks worse not at full back.
* LANE is the biggest problem. Checking his 2018 stats as a starter, he should easily average over 50, and is around 40. After 3 weeks of price rises, he actually went negative overall in one bad score last week. What's his problem? I wanna hold, but can't afford to at this rate.
Which 2 should go this week? I'm leaning towards Kahu and Lane, but maybe Cartwright, or even Brown - I'd rather have everyone earning money or points, even though looping is handy.
Can't pick who comes in. Have looked at Okunbor for the fast money more than points, as I need more stats on his reliability before starting him. CHT will get some money too but I don't need him as a scoring half - though he could take Cartwright's spot and be my backup. Xerri should be good points and money with his base last week and Johnson back beside him but I don't need another CTR. I really need another reliable WFB so Ponga or Teddy are on the cards. Lane would have to go to get them.
Kahu & Lane -> Ponga and (Xerri/CHT/Okunbor)?
Brown and Kahu -> 2 Cows?
I've got no idea ... and only 4 hours to go
