Conscious of asking advice without contributing and haven't done this yet so

    Rein
    Fifita (c) Tolman
    Arrow Murray Bateman
    Cleary Morgan
    Bird Capewell
    Teddy CNK Rava

    Lawrie Mahoney Nikora Garner
    Cartwright CHT Sele Host

    Trades this week were McCullough=Bateman  & Keighran=CHT
Fifi is C because roulette always fucks me over and I have gone with him from the start (no smith or cook)
Went for Bateman over Ponga or Crichton as differential from Macca would be bigger next week. Hopefully Rava can hold up with a 30 for one more week.
Went for CHT over Okunbor as don't need a centre and believe they will make the same money over 4-5 weeks
First year didn't start with Smith and regretting it given Cleary's form
Getting worse at this game every year!!

Top 5 Players to watch this week

    1) Angus Chrichton - Although a lot of people will be buying this week, He has had 3 games starting this season and only had 1 50+ score thanks to a try. If he scores 50+ this week then hes definitely in my side next week.

    2) Payne Haas - A player in a lot of teams during preseason before the suspension came. Interested to know what his minutes will be like and how fast he scores. (note - minutes may be affected by TPJ being out).

    3) CHT/Carty - It was a debate on who to bring in last week with the halves crisis. Will CHT shit on the Carty party ones again or will the tables turn?

    4) Nathan Cleary - We all know what hes capable of when fit. He clearly isnt at the moment. How long will he be affected by this groin complaint? Will he do more general play kicking? If/when his score turn around when is the time to jump on him?

    5) Siosiua Taukeiaho - Not on many peoples radar up to this point. After a poor scoring round 1 where most players that didnt get across the line scored poor, He has managed to bring his average up to 51 and has shown his tackle busting ability. Another solid score may bring him into my team next week.

I've had more time to look at my team this week and I think it's actually made it worse. Round and round in circles. Figured it can't hurt to post and hear some thoughts. Here's my squad.

    McCullough
    Fifita, Taupau
    Murray, Bateman, Garner
    Cleary, Morgan
    Nikora, Bird
    Sivo, CNK, Rava

    Rein, Tolman, Capewell, Lane
    Carty, Garrick, Brown, Kahu

    CONCERNS:
    - Garner might be on a downward trend after his Rd3 injury.
    - Cleary isn't playing like a gun.
    - Rookie WFBs are annoying to pick in 13.
    - Why did I pick Carty last week instead of CHT?
    - Kahu sucks. Sucks worse not at full back.
    * LANE is the biggest problem. Checking his 2018 stats as a starter, he should easily average over 50, and is around 40. After 3 weeks of price rises, he actually went negative overall in one bad score last week. What's his problem? I wanna hold, but can't afford to at this rate.

Which 2 should go this week? I'm leaning towards Kahu and Lane, but maybe Cartwright, or even Brown - I'd rather have everyone earning money or points, even though looping is handy.

Can't pick who comes in. Have looked at Okunbor for the fast money more than points, as I need more stats on his reliability before starting him. CHT will get some money too but I don't need him as a scoring half - though he could take Cartwright's spot and be my backup. Xerri should be good points and money with his base last week and Johnson back beside him but I don't need another CTR. I really need another reliable WFB so Ponga or Teddy are on the cards. Lane would have to go to get them.

    Kahu & Lane -> Ponga and (Xerri/CHT/Okunbor)?
Brown and Kahu -> 2 Cows?

I've got no idea ... and only 4 hours to go

I’d downgrade one of Capewell or Lane to Xerri or Okunbor. Then go for a massive upgrade in the FB. Either Ted or Ponga.

I'll be keeping my eye on a few POD forwards this week.

Fonua-Blake has delivered straight 50+'s and is pretty cheap for what he's averaging. Dale Finucane has also strung together some good scores. Fisher-Harris is going great but is a demerit points machine. A few others averaging 50+ that aren't on a lot of people's radar.

Think there'll be a pretty good buy or two among them.

    2) Broncos forwards are all over the place, risky but might be worth it.

    3) Tell me about it. I've debated leaving the Carty Party for CHT. Probs just a rage trade.

    4) Again, tell me about it. Wish I knew how long til he's good again because he's awesome when fully fit.

    5) Nice pick up. Several mid range or borderline forwards are good value this year. Gives us some POD options. I'll keep an eye on it.

Trades look okay. I’d almost consider having Nikora I’m ctr over Capewell, then have Sele over him on the bench. But up to you
