Ahhh of course haha. Host is being traded out so hopefully ill know if SJ is good to go before the Warriors kick off.

I prefer Xerri to CHT, because deep down I don't trust the Warriors at all. I've got a few Sharks and none have let me down.

Its been less than a day and I am already sick of Payne Haas.

24 hours ago nobody thought Haas would put up a big score. He barely rated a mention in trade-ins prior to 7pm last night

Now he's had 1 good game, everyone thinks he is the next superman, with a neverending run of 60+ scores all but guaranteed.

He is not the first rookie to put up a big score in his first game. He's not even the first one to do it this month.

The other cheapies for this round haven't even played yet and everyone is already writing them off. Every round this year people have redesigned their entire team after the first game of the week.

I will basically be rooting for Haas to get some shit scores, just to shut everyone up about him.

Bird > Hass (CTR pairing will be Bateman/Nikora)
Edwards > Ponga (WFB trio will be Teddy/Ponga/Klokstad)

Means i can keep Gillett around. HIA is no reason to drop him and he seems to be popping up in the right places to score tries.

Worth going for the cheaper guy to make this scenario possible??

Yes lock it in. Then your trades are done and you dont need to worry!

haha. The titans are bound to kick at him all night.. so he will probably have very similar opportunity for points collecting as he would when playing at fb, but just as much chance of dropping balls too.

Yeah it was a bit of a joke, but you know if he can't perform v Titans, then you definitely have to get rid because Titans' backline (and most of their team) suck

For sure, his score tonight could be anywhere from 10 to 60.

Titans left edge defense has been terrible, so I'm crossing fingers for a couple of easy tries for him

I don't expect Haas to kick on and play big minutes for big scores each week. However he made a notable difference when he was on the field and he should make some decent cash even if he just played 30-40 minutes each week. Ain't going to say no to a cash maker.

At least with multiple cheapie options fantasy coaches' teams will start to differ more and more

I'm stuck between a couple options, thoughts?

A: AK to Rein - Makes me more money, means I get another look at Ponga and can use the spare cash to buy him next week.

B: AK to Ponga - Less money but I get his points this week, would mean giving up Rein though

C: Hold the trade, get Ponga next week, I've used max trades already and should save some

    My team: $400K ITB

    Cook
    Fifita, Lawrie
    Arrow, Murray, Garner
    Morgan, Munster
    Nikora, Bateman
    Teddy, CNK, Sivo

    Mahoney, Okunbor, Xerri, Garrick

    Rava, Flegler, AK, DBrown.

I mean he seems to have the game to put up big scores. Not like a rookie half who might get a few lbs, tas etc.

He actually solves my FRF dilemma. I only realize yesterday I don't have cover for FRF if there was a late withdraw to either Fatfita or Kapow.
