He looked tremendous and it was mostly base stats. Potentially doesn’t get those minutes and his starting spot isn’t assured as the downside. In saying that his performance was lauded and Andy Raymond said when he came off in the first half that the Broncs said he was meant to be out there longer. 24 hours ago nobody thought Haas would put up a big score. He barely rated a mention in trade-ins prior to 7pm last night
Now he's had 1 good game, everyone thinks he is the next superman, with a neverending run of 60+ scores all but guaranteed.
He is not the first rookie to put up a big score in his first game. He's not even the first one to do it this month.
The other cheapies for this round haven't even played yet and everyone is already writing them off. Every round this year people have redesigned their entire team after the first game of the week.
I will basically be rooting for Haas to get some shit scores, just to shut everyone up about him.
He was talked about a lot in the pre season and then wasn’t talked about much because, well, he wasn’t playing. When he was playing up till 7PM last night it was going to be from the bench. Then he was a 230k starting Lock. Then he put in that performance.
I don’t think people are expecting 60 plus every week. If they are they are delusional, agreed.

I've since held Mahoney though for the short term at least and want Macca out. Next week maybe.

Bringing in Burns and then out straight away didn't make me feel wonderful. You can't predict an injury like that though and I was able to go straight to Teddy next week.
Wish I had picked someone aside from Waddell for a downgrade but he seemed like a reasonable option at the time and may still go alright.
Getting Bateman and Lawrie in for round two was great, especially jumping off Glasby quickly.

Yeah, play around with your team positions and try reversing the trades individually. At first, I could not reverse because of Garner but I did a couple of switches and then I could reverse the trades one at a time.
I am going Brown > Ponga instead of Keighran > Ponga so I can reverse if Ponga doesn't play. And if that happens, I might save my first trade of the season

it should be confirmed that Ponga is playing this afternoon. Knights captain run is this afternoon, which he is due back for. I would expect someone like Barry Toohey will have an update

And to add on this I started the year with Cleary. Taupau has been my captain. I didnt play Keigran or Brown in there big scores and I am crrently ranked just outside the 10,000 with a average of exactly 800. So yeah a real train wreck to start the season. Try and one up me I dare ya
