French possibly with Fergo looking at time on sidelines. Wouldn’t be surprised to see MWZ take a spot of Dedwards

George Jennings and Hoffman probably going to be ahead of French. Not to mention French is light as a feather, his scores would be reliant solely on tries.

There are very slim pickings in the sub 300k department. The only options that look good are people that would get an opportunity if there was an injury like Kyle Flanagan, Lomax or Waddell.

He had that big run down the left flank at the end of the game but was bundled into touch.  At the time I figured that's where his score went from 35 to 50 as he broke a few tackles and ran maybe 30 metres.  Thought he would lose all those points as the play ended in an Error but ended up staying on 51.

Was that where those 15 points came from and they weren't deducted due to the Error?  Or did he have another great play in the 10 minutes I missed?

Error only matters if it happened prior to when he scored points.

Very good. He won't get those big minutes again but he was straight back in the side as soon as he was available.

    Why J.Hughes?

Guessing he wants a dpp player averaging 43 for only 548k?
Only the one try too in a Storm team that has barely got going
He was been pretty involved in the last game too with a couple try assists

Similar players doing the same thing are CNK and Gutherson who are averaging mid 40's and priced similar.

Only Ponga,RTS and Tedesco (TTrbo injured) are really averaging more..
I haven't mention Pereira/CWalker/Ado Carr as they are volatile to boom/bust

You can do alot with 200k early days and still an upgrade on playing a Sivo/Ravalawa

I've gone off him now. I don't want him against the Roosters. The following week Hughes faces the Warriors at home. The last couple at the Storm have been thrashings for the Warriors. I think the Storm will do it again & Hughes will go large.

I've had him since the start, has held his price, but only started to look good fantasy wise this last game, if he wasn't facing the roosters this week I might have held onto him a bit longer. Now I'm looking at getting Ponga

The following would be my “If Fifita is gone for some time” trade:
OUT: Fifita and Burns. IN: Rein and Ponga

    Squad (62k itb)
    (C)ook
    Lawrie, Tolman
    Taupau, Murray, Garner
    Moses, Morgan
    Bateman, Nikora
    Teddy, Ponga, Klokstad

    Rein, Mahoney, Haas, Cartwright

    Tatola, Rava, Host, Kahu

Option B would be to fuck off Host and Kahu for CHT and Xerri/Ogden/some other cow

Option C is to hold trades.

Think I will bypass Cook this week. Will aim to hold Fifita and turn DEdwards into a gun opposed to another shitty WFB that will need replacing.

DEdwards + Bird --> Ponga and Haas (looks and feels good)

Entertaining a straight trade this week. The kind of luxury trade which you keep putting off because you have better things to do. The kind of trade where you consider maybe just saving the trade instead. But of course you don't. You straight trade. You trade straight up straight trade McCullough straight out of your damn team and you never look back.

Macca>Twal at the top of my list

also heavily considering Macca>RTS, which makes my whole backline look pretty damn tasty:

    Mahoney
    Fifita Tolman
    Arrow Murray Garner
    Morgan Ponga
    Bateman Nikora
    Tedesco RTS CNK

    Rein Lawrie Burr Hass

    CHT Sivo Ravlawa Kahu

Paul Gallen and Andrew Fifita will have to push through the pain barrier to ensure Cronulla are not missing more than 55 Origins and 1000 NRL games of experience in Thursday's grudge match with Penrith...

Fifita meanwhile was in rehab alongside Josh Dugan (general soreness) and Kurt Capewell (calf) while the first grade squad trained, but was confident of overcoming his hamstring issue according to his teammates in time for Thursday's kick-off.
Gal also saying he’ll be up for the game.

Once off decision between Tedesco and Ponga for this week only. The other comes in next week. Gotta be Ponga vs Titans right?

    Hilarious, that sounds like Dugan.
