Good point. Someone should do some in depth analysis so we can quantify the correlation (if any) between the two..

Agree in some respects, although they do have some merit at times. Its usually stuff that is an indicator of the type of player they are though. Eg a back that takes 15+ runs a game (ie comes looking for the ball), or a forward who makes 40+ tackles a game. 

Stuff like Sivo scoring a tonne of tries is meaningless.

Its like saying rob jennings is a must have fantasy player cos you saw how many tries he scored last year for souths.

It's like picking Katoa cause the Warriors right winger scored a few tries and Shaun Johnson moved clubs....

Dont have anyone in this second game so currently 208/3 from Cleary, Murray and Nikora. Its my best start so far so Im really happy.

Really looking forward to this next game. The two best coaches going at it for the slightest advantage plus well drilled teams who can attack and defend. Lets hope the reffs never get a mention.

I mean when you charge into one of the greatest players of all time and leave him flat on his ass a few times, you can be forgiven for thinking he's going to be a big deal.

I was tossing it up as a potential option as soon as next week. Unlikely to do it now. Before I cop too much flak I don't deny he is a great player and he can score well in 60 but once he stops making cash I think his ROS average will be closer to 50 than 55. This could backfire completely and Murray is a good enough player to do that but 60 mins puts him in the same boat as Arrow where they are hard to trust every week. By the time I do trade him (at least 2 weeks now) I'll have enough to go on to make a call or be proven wrong.

I think its more that they don't want two players in the halves with a combined total of five first grade games.

Never heard of Verrills. (Seems like you never hear of these Roosters guys that come through until theyre in the NRL). Just having a look at him. Four games of C Cup this year, all four off the bench. Strange one.
