I've been living in the Kokiri Forest for the last few weeks, which is beautiful but very isolated. Glad to be back home near the water.

Surely with the pressure on Brown the Knights get up?

Who are you looking at bringing in ? For me Its either get rid of an unripe cow for a gun, punt on a cheapie like kennedy or keep holding out waiting for a miracle .
Burr or Ponga. Looking at trading both in this week coming.

Would anyone pay 400k ish for a Waton in the halves if he is injury free?
Averaged 41 in the halves last year, priced at 452k now with a 57 BE
If he can bang out a good couple scores in the following weeks, could be a good pick at WFB

Possibly, would have to prove to me he has his confidence back but could be a handy pickup for those looking for an upgrade on a sivo/rava
Would also help if the knights start firing, would be someone who would benefit from that
Basically a cut price Cody walker for the risk v reward type punters out there
Pearce is getting very cheap too and almost sub 600k, roll the dice on the knights hitting some form

I would be backing Pearce ahead of Watson. Brown keeps playing Watson injured, leading to his poor scoring.

Of course, backing Pearce first but if Watson is injury free and hitting form then would look at both

My favourite poster, Pookus! How has the season been treating you?
It's definitely true about time required to do well. Last year I had way less time than previously and it meant going with my gut more and not overthinking decisions.
Being out of reception and missing late mail and news make it tricky though. There should only be about 5 more rounds I'll miss for the rest of the season so hopefully I can still catch up.
Yeah not too bad, hoping to sneak into the top 1000 this round, but could definitely still be doing better. You are doing pretty well considering the setbacks of being cutoff from the fantasy news grapevine. You won't be allowed to be self-deprecating of your skills anymore once you have another good season you know- license to be humble revoked!

Both on the watchlist. A sub 600k Pearce is tempting. Now just have to see if the Knights hit form and jump on at the right time.Boozecluez wrote:
