Does the Waddell starting thing have any merit?

When I watch him play I just don't get into it. Maybe because he's more of the safe hit up, tackle kind of player.

I'll probably look at Host and Arrow to Cam and a red dot if he's out.

I'd hold firm, his average playing over 60 last year even discounting his 2 try 99 was 62, without James already averaging 69 minutes.

Need to decide on Dearden in the next 15 mins, is it worth selling Garner down to him and Morgan to Ponga?

Considering holding off and waiting for teamlists tomorrow - if Arrow is out I will sell Arrow to Ponga directly and save the 2nd trade, if not then Garner to Waddell/Lomax and Morgan to Ponga

Lol the Fox League panel all defending Nikorima and saying he needed more time to prove himself... I guess being at the club since he was 12 isn't enough time.

Yeah, it's a luxury trade for sure. I wouldn't even contemplate trading him out if he wasn't at risk of missing this week.

Does he miss any games over origin aswell?

As a Cook owner from last week only, I will not captain him.  If he gets 80 at least I can say the trade in was worthwhile.  If he only gets 47 again at least I didn't captain. 

I know he will score 90 and I will be pissed with myself regardless hahaha.

as the incumbent you'd think all this speculation over his spot would piss macca off

Will miss for Origin mate, but is a keeper IMO I'm expecting a big turn in his scoring playing the minutes he has in James absence

If I was getting Smith would be for someone else al Garner/Gillett etc

I'm down to Haas or Murray for captain.

Great options I know.

4 forwards on the Broncs bench is a worry.

In (C)ook we trust.

Reversing trade. Will watch Dearden and get next week if good. I can use Sele to loop. And I can get Waddell if this starting business becomes more credible.
