Didn't get to watch much footy this weekend as I was down in Brissy for a concert Saturday night and then flew back up to Townsville Sunday morning for a music festival but from the stats I can see all cows last week seemed to have performed pretty well and all look pretty good moving forward. This weeks cows all have a few ? over them and I think not all will perform how we would like. Shit that Bateman is out long term, will be a good pick up after Origin for my Centres but gives me a big bank to pick up some Guns over the next couple weeks (Arey [this week], Tolo, Twal, Smith/Farah, RTS/Turbo all on my radar.)

I know he has passed off any claims but is anyone worried about Smith coming out of retirement for Origin? Definitely gaining some momentum.

    Bateman > ARey
    Gillett > Dearden

Fixes my weak halves and lack of backup. Also leaves me 440k for an upgrade next week.

    Thoughts?

That 440k can be used to go Capewell/Garner to Taumalolo/Taupau next week?

    Okunbor, Lomax, CHT, DBrown

$67k in the bank. Don't expect to be trading next round but I am pretty sure I have said that the last two rounds. Bateman gave me the opportunity to bring in two keepers now (ARey, JT13)

Ranked at 197th. I am as surprised as you are.

    Good looking team, nice work!

Nice team for the guy you replied to! Mine isn't as great but I'm somehow sitting 534th overall.

    Wighton, Munster
    Nikora, Garrick

    Mahoney, Rein, Morgan, Xerri

    Dearden, Okunbor, DBrown, Bateman

My main POD at the moment is Wighton and he's been killing it so that probably explains my rank. My plan is to sell Bateman to Lolo next week and then after round 12 sell Wighton to SJ and run SJ/Munster as my final 2 halves.

I am a bit worried on this plus there is a plethora of forward and 2rf stocks in the green.

Also Ricky has been rotating his young forwards thus far & who's to say Young gets a couple of games then Ricky gives another young forward a go.

Nice team & rank Filth. Have you considered playing Lomax instead of Xerri at starting ctr because Lomax against the Warriors could be a good points haul especially since he's the gk as well. I know Xerri could score just as well v the Titans but Lomax having the goal kicking could give him the edge.

The more I look at trades this week, Morgan to Pearce or Wighton seems sideways. Am I crazy?

Its not really gaining momentum. The media started talking about it, and then the media is saying its gaining momentum because they keep talking about it.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but Smith doesn't seem like someone who will change his mind because of the medias influence.

Honestly I think it would be crazier changing one half than both. Keary is great but is he 100% work with the out of form Cleary?

Or would you pick the best two in form halves from the same club that play week in and week out together?

QLD still picked players out of form and they stepped up during Origin. Sometimes you need to back the incumbants form or no form.

Last season, a wonderful individual on here (cant remember who.... but thank you anyway!) talked me out of Pearce - for this very reason. It was the game round that he got injured. So lucky!

TBH, Pearce isn't on my radar. I have Wighton but he'll likely be my 18th man for the run home (for sneaky things....). Reynolds & DCE are my 'keeper' plans.
