Alright I might get in on the action..

    Team is:

    Rein
    Fifi Tolman
    Murray Arrow Kapow
    Morgan Pearce
    Nikora Xerri
    CNK Hughes Ponga

    Mahoney Haas Lawrie Garner

    Carty CHT Bateman Monty Burns

Plan for this week is the angry englishman to farah, Garner to lomax to give me WFB and centre cover and a keeper. This lets me not lose money on garner if he goes poorly this week with an even further reduced role, and also do unspeakable things with my halves and centres this week

Next week CHT with the bank directly to Lolo and then sit tight on that squad (bar obvious cows) until lawrie and carty are maxed out to gun/cow those 2 and use the change for hughes and morgan upgrades

Anyone see better options? I tend to get some solid tunnel vision, so this forum helps a lot with that

Whoops. Lomax for cover and a slowish burning cow and 346itb

Not sold 100% on him though as this week's cow, I just think it probably makes the most sense and I know roughly what i'm getting from him

Could consider RTS instead of Farah and then maybe Staggs as a slightly different option - gives you the cover at the back and flexibility of another gun wfb to let you move Ponga/Hughes into the halves if you need it.

I'm leaning to this too.  Garner seems to have to much competition to be any value.  I may punt on Turpin over Dearden though.

RTS hasnt been much fun recently, opposition teams are kicking the ball out on the last tackle so he can't run it back at them.

Morgan became Cleary for me a couple weeks back. Cleary needs to re-find his running game and add some more kicking. Can easily be a 53+ avg half. Panthers are sure to hit a purple patch so hopefully Cleary can hit one too.
    Great point

I think its a matter of time before we see Cleary do what Pearce has done in the last couple of weeks. For a team going as dreadful as the panthers I think Cleary has still been scoring well.

As a Morgan owner myself, should I worry about Cleary missing games over origin or just say stuff it and grab him? Already have Reynolds...

    Cheers mate. I like RTS

I haven’t had much chance to watch RTS this year but he’s a weapon of the highest order. I’ve been hesitant to jump on so far given we have a lot of history of him being a mid 40s scorer. I feel like Farah at roughly the same price is the safer pick. Doesn’t make it the right one though!

I think I’m loathe to bring in another half until DCE is back, but RTS makes more sense given the Ponga shift if I want to

Possibly Morgan to RTS in a few weeks when I milk lawrie

Staggs is a player I really like. What do we think of his JS at the moment? Has potential to be a 40 point scorer in the centers but with Roberts there I’m suss. Definitely a good one to think about as a Bateman replacement

In an attempt to hold onto Bateman, I think i'm going to go CHT and Host to Fainu and Hudson Young.

Hoping that Croker is out as long as Bateman and Fainu can pump out some decent scores.

StormTrooper96 wrote:Nikorima's inclusion is one of two spine changes for the Warriors ahead of their match with the Dragons at Suncorp Stadium, with Kearney also dropping veteran hooker Issac Luke due to issues with his defence.
With Luke named on an extended bench and spending all of Wednesday's field session playing with the reserve-grade group, Nathaniel Roache is set to start at hooker with Karl Lawton joining the interchange.
Tuivasa-Sheck said while news of Luke's demotion came as a shock, he backed the decision by Kearney.
"Yeah it was a surprise, but that's the plan we are going off this weekend and coach has made the call," Tuivasa-Sheck said.
"[Issac] has been good, he trained really well [this week].
"It's always tough to go back to the [Canterbury] Cup side. But Issac is a professional, he'll take it in for a bit but then he will be on to his next job and go out and perform well for the cup side."
Meanwhile despite neither having kicked a goal at NRL level before, the goalkicking responsibilities for Saturday's match look set to fall to either Nikorima or rookie centre Patrick Herbert.
The pair both kicked at the end of Wednesday's training session, while Tohu Harris all but ruled himself out as a candidate.
"If you ask [Kodi], he's said he's going to be kicking for goal, so he's not short on confidence," Kearney said.
"[But] Patrick is a pretty capable goalkicker, so we will see what happens."

Seem as though Kodi thinks he is kicking goals. Also seems like Luke will not come back. RTS even sounds like he has accepted Luke's demotion.

The funny thing is Parra wanted to sign Luke and upgrade his deal but the Warriors decided to upgrade him and keep him. Now they are paying more then he was originally contracted for and not even playing him

    Short answer: depends

Long answer: are you missing a premium captain option. Personally I don't think it's the time to buy Cook as he'll miss R12 and may miss R13 2 days after origin as well. I like Farah, Lolo and ARey as options with latter 2 playing R12

Not sure what your bank is like but Id be going Bateman and Morgan to ARey and Farah. We have similar teams of course the main difference being I already have ARey. Thought I was set on bringing in CS9 but now you’ve gone and tempted me with Pearce dammit lol

Lawton seems to be the back up hooker on the bench. More likely impacts Burr's minutes instead.

I have no HOK cover so Turpin holds some interest. Just scared of another failed cow scenario.
