Was thinking of going Morgan - Cleary and banking a trade. Pick up the pick of the litter next week out of turpin/young and cashing out Okunbor.

Is Cleary a good target at this stage even though he will likely play origin and miss some games?

With the Garner news is it worth trading him out looking for someone under $700k to bring into the team. (Thinking Twal, or Pearce) or sticking with my CHT downgrade in Lomax (Best cover).

Next week I plan to upgrade Garner/Burr to Taumalolo. Which I should be able to still upgrade Burr to Taumalolo if I downgrade CHT to someone less than $300k.

Is the bench actually good for Arrow or are people with the C on him just trying to convince themselves?

    Everyone abort.

Note: I said that in a fun sarcastic way

I still like Cleary for a season long pick up, but at this stage Morgan is averaging something like 4 points less. It isn't a big worry to me especially with Cleary almost certain for Origin while Morgan still remains up in the air. Maybe double cashcow out and get rid of some more of the dead weight. The fact you have Xerri as your 4th bench option means you really need another solid pick up. (I know a lot have him at CTR, but its vastly different than as a reserve pick.)

I'm selling Garner. Who do you like as his replacement:
    (a) Rein or (b) JFH or (c) Kikau or (d) Twal

    Thoughts & thanks.

Averaging nearly 70 minutes since James went down, pretty safe choice I think! If I had Smith/Cook/Farah I'd be going with them though

Wasn’t there injuries that caused those big minutes? Or am I imagining things

You'd have to think it's fairly unlikely but can we rule it out?

I'm buying either Smith or Cook and the only reason I'd go Smith over cook is if he wasn't playing Origin.

Can't rule it out for certain but you know for damn sure Cook is going to miss Round 12 and the Bunnies play 2 days after Origin I so he'll probably miss Round 13 too if that sways your decision.

Same here, even after my Captaincy spiel last week about picking and sticking. I’ve C’d Cook all year, but this is kind of a unique situation.

Fifi's llast two games against the Titans he got 47 and 53. Not sure why, you'd think he'd rip through them.

Not even sure who I'm Captaining mate, I meant "me too" in regards not Captaining Cook, but as to who I do I'm not sure.

Seriously considering Fainu. Their lineup didn't really make sense with him and Koroisau sharing minutes.

Is Api likely to stay at 6 once their halves are fit again? Assuming he goes ok there this week.

Fainu's BE this week is 28, but I'm guessing it will go to sub 20 for the next couple of weeks if he can post 50+ scores. He's got scores of 10 and 17 to drop out.

Similar to what Random said, I'd look at getting a better player than Xerri in 4th reserves (unless you are confident in Xerri's scoring)
I'd think about Turpin, he probably has best scoring potential of this week's cheapies

Morgan to Cleary is a little sideways. Cleary a small step up, but if you are planning on making the trade anyway, no time like the present.

B or C - steady scores in JFH or the higher ceiling in kikau

At least you get a net gain points wise from a tackle break and a missed tackle

I think there is worry Lachlan Croker being due back next week potentially could force a reshuffle and affect Fainu's minutes. Yes there is cash to be made, but he is priced at $581k which is too rich of an investment when you have guys like Turpin and Young available and free's up a boatload of cash. Potentially makes the same amount as him too.

    Cheers random,
Been getting away with having Brown as 17th and using the loop to try and scrape together a 35 + until now Embarassed

Reckon I should do something like Okunbor - Turpine and play him as my 17th or go for someone else ?

Agree others will make more money, but do they have the potential to average 55?
