Damn, this puts me in a bit of a bind, I can't afford Mitchell/Marsters in 1 trade and there are no other decent options. Might have to play Xerri/Lomax until I can get some funds.

I was tempted to put him in but I’m not sure what his attitude will be like coming back. I truly beleive he doesn’t like the coach

Re Bird. I know it's financial but he'd also miss out on the 30k per game (apologies if wrong) they get paid for origin & the form Bird was in then imo he would of made the NSW team.

Depends what you want out of him mate.
He was seen as a sneaky cheap POD at the start of the year. Problem is as he wasn't base price so he was played in most 17's I'd say, and his scores were not good enough for that. We all tend to have that one fail.
He isn't going to make you more than 100k you wouldn't think. But he is great DPP wise when most of our cover seems to be Hookers and Halves and Centres and WFB's at the moment. Also boosts Round 12 numbers.
Just his scoring is so variable. But he might be a decent 17th man for the next month. You'd just have to hope he hits the 45/50 not those 25/30's.
I’ve had Tatola from the start. When I play him in my 17, his scores are crap, when I play him in 18....BOOM(kinda). Looking at recent scoring, it tells me to bench him this round. I’m probably gonna be wrong about this now. Btw, Sutton is my other option for 17th man this week.

I'll just run Xerri or Lomax until Bateman comes back. The position is a crapshoot for consistency.
A 30-35 average should suffice rather than going for someone like Marsters.

The QLD selectors dont mind a bolter. Am wondering if Mbye is in their radar.

White Lightning wrote:With ball strips occurring more often now with the law change (previously if there were 2 in the tackle & 1 defender falls off then you couldn't strip the ball because even though the defender fell off he was still involved in the tackle) maybe they should consider this as a new scoring category.
The flip side is are they dropping off on purpose reducing their effective tackle % which then questions the stats validity but also robbing hard working fantasy players of their tackle points, worse could it be counted as a missed tackle ?

Was listening to TripleM on the way to work. Woods was on and said Moylan is touch and go for next week

I'm a Tiger's supporter and he's not on mine. He gets a hammering on social media which isn't necessarily justified, but for every good play there's a bad one. He's a shitter version of James Maloney.

QLD's forward stocks aren't great, Hess is practically going to retain his spot by default.

With all the injuries and changes I'd be very surprised if any of last years surviving Maroons don't get picked, including Hess, regardless of form. I also have a feeling Granville will be spelled by Hunt or the other way around for game 1. Really don't see Kevvie doing anything particularly adventurous
