If you really thought he was going to make that after a single performance, netting $100 k, scoring 60+, and giving him another insane minus BE, then surely you had to get him in?

I decided to listen to the more level headed lads in the forum at the time which is cool.
Also I got Kikau last week and that bit me in the ass so shyed away from so called big potential.

    I'm cool with it.

You went with Kikau and got burned after following some advice then did the same this week?

Come on lad, go with your gut especially after a call like that!

Nah I mean leading in to this week. You and I had a fairly horrocious first 4-5 weeks (or maybe it was even more I don't remember). I've pegged it back a little bit, think I was somewhere in the vicinity or 3-4k leading into the week but then this is the first week I've saved a trade. Wondered if you had a similar trajectory?

One day mate, just fairly introverted when it comes to this game.
Oh by the way Kikau puts 70 on the Warriors so it evens out.

    Horrocious! Classic

Still shit stayed pretty much where I was around the 10,000 mark Embarassed

Traded in Bateman and got fucked after 2nd week, so missed all his huge scores then copped his 20 as captain after taking off Arrow due to "injury" news. That would of taking me well up the rankings as Smith and Fifi both went low that weekend!

But I digress and will keep plugging on!

Ah bugger, did want to ask if you'd brought in Bateman when he went down but I thought it might be a little raw at the time.
What's the plan to catch up now, aggressive captain choices, going hard at the byes, holding some trades back for an end of season jump if injuries occur, rushing to the final 17 or just playing it by ear week to week?

Love how straight up the Welsh are. The English should've arrested more of them and shipped them off to Aus during colonisation. Maybe then we wouldn't be such a bunch of politically correct softcocks these days.

Yep all of those. Captain Cleary this week and avoiding non-round12 playing guys like papanhouseiseisen. FTW!

I've got TLolo in for 12 and built a bank for Farah/Smith after

Morgan to Moses next week as need a POD half to make some ground and after his string of sub 40s reckon he is due a purple patch

Been sitting on Arrow as the C because I reckon he is due some massive scores playing his current minutes

Big fan of that moses call. Not certain on the player myself but I definitely still think halves can be the area to make up ground so I like the idea. We aren't playing against him so I'll cross my fingers for ya

In completely unrelated news, the most recent "Who Are The Most Drunken C(o)untries" research came out today.  No surprise that the UK was first.  Australia came an admirable 4th.  Which means we went the closest to medalling, but without having to actually stand on the dais pretending to be sober for a couple of minutes cheer

Haha yeah, bit of a dark one I guess.

I've heard that the Welsh language is pretty direct, no need for 50 words that all mean the same thing when you can just say "I'm gonna take a shit" and get your point across Laughing

I support a weekly gaming podcast on patreon from some Welsh lads, great sense of humour. Channel is called Special Moves on youtube, formerly from Pretty Good Gaming.

    Random shoutout to them.

The irony is they also then go and use 50 letters to spell just the one word.
