I see no difference (just prefacing this though, I sold him straight away, but I was a Brown victim last year)

    Haha, love the symmetry.

The difference in holding Burns v Brown was 100k in Brown holders favour straight out. But more importantly, Brown's red dot was pretty much as good as it gets for Looping. Game "position" in the Rounds they both played up till now from when they were injured:

    Burns - 4 4 2 4 1 8 6
    Brown - 6 8 8 8 8 6 5

I was talking about Nathan Brown last year when he was injured for like 2 weeks and then missed 8 rounds. I think I remember buying him when he returned as well only for him to get injured again. I should have clarified Nathan not Dylan Brown but it would have ruined the symmetry (though Dylan Brown's injury also had little information)

it's a dead-set travesty that even with the internet being as vast and endless as it is, there isn't a Con the Fruiterer 'bewdiful!' gif to respond to this.

WT Winfield wrote:Brown's initial diagnosis was 1-2 weeks, then after 2 weeks it was week-by-week, then like 4-6 weeks including the time already served.. ended up being 7.

    I sold him after 4 I think.

I think Burns was 4-6 straight off the bat? Or just 5 weeks minimum?

I sold him straight away. Only reason people kept him was to manipulate scores, so yeah, my heart bleeds for you.

It was the Sunk Cost fallacy. Nobody is dumb enough to keep a player just to l**p. Better off cashing out. For me I held initially because I expected a rd 8-9 return and with enough cover to hold, I did. Then the closer we got to the byes, he looked like a good option to keep for then. Add on top that I've held him this long without reward so it makes it hard to sell. However, Burns to Cotric seems ideal and I'll likely pull the trigger

Reports that Joe Stimson has signed with Bulldogs for next season.

Unsure why the Dogs keep signing edge forwards..

Who are people running in their centers these days? I’ve got Nikora xerri Lomax but xerri and Lomax should be in my EMGs ideally.

Got plenty of cash but see not much value around when I’ll be looking to get Bateman when he’s back and bottomed out anyway so I figure cop xerri in that role and use the cash elsewhere in the meantime

Everyone's probably going to be doing similar things in running with Xerri/Lomax/Herbert/Garrick etc alongside Nikora (unless they spend big on Mitchell/Marsters which probably isn't worth it)

I'm going to start Garrick I think for R11 and R12 (Titans and Panthers, 15th and 16th) and hopefully downgrade Xerri to afford Lawrie to Taupau

Sort of hope he gets one or two games for 5mins off the bench this year to bring his price down

I held him hoping he’d come back around round 11-12 and he’d be a POD. The other trades I’ve made have worked out well and I’ve still got a good amount of money and cash generation. I can afford to hold him and in fact I’m still holding Brown as well.

If he was Cook, I’d understand it.

    He’s not. He’s a pretty good centre. That’s all.

Not spending any money on centre until Bateman is back.
