Actually. I'm basing it on two rounds ago when Fittler was shown speaking to Cleary on the field after a Panthers loss. Looked like a coach telling a player he was still his #7 to me.

Yeah I saw that as the cameras panned away, he's the 7 for sure.

Xerri good enough until Bateman comes back, and can bring in Taupau as a keeper(ish) player and boost my round 12 score

I’m holding - he still averages 38 which isn’t bad for a centre - hoping he can get me through until Burns and Bateman are back. I’m trying not to spend any more trades than I need to in the centres and moving him on feels like a luxury trade at the moment (I don’t have Xerri, my only centre cover is Lomax so if I dropped Capewell I’d probably have to just bring in another centre anywayp)

I was going to bring in Taumalolo but this makes sense. I'm $10k short of a straight Lawrie trade. Still have Burr and Lawrie but hopefully cash outs appear next week

Xerri has done well so far, wouldn't be surprised if he is back in the lower grades soon.

I went Capewell>Taupau. Capewell has done his dash and is going to lose the cash he has made.

He looks really good with explosive pace off the mark but his hands are letting him down. This was highlighted when he dropped that pass for a certain try & this could of helped Sharks win because that would of just put them a try behind with a couple of minutes to go. It amazes me how many players take their eye off the ball just before catching a pass. I was taught to look at the ball into your hands & you will never drop it. It's the basics & a lot of players just do not do the basics.

Those with Capewell should keep in mind that Wade Graham is back after the bye most likely

Does this knock Capewell or Nikora? Capewell is more versatile which leads me to think he is more likely to play off the bench.

Yeah Capewell will make way for Graham as he was always just filling in. Nikora apparently has always been groomed as the L. Lewis replacement so he will stay in the 13.

I think because Graham is a predominate left-sided player he'd replace Capewell so they have kicking option on the left; Nikora and SJ had a good combination before injury (which outside fantasy) you don't think they'd change

Kick his ass to the curb bro. As MS pointed out he will start to lose all the cash he has made & will be gone soon anyway with W. Graham back. Plus his defensive efforts lately have been very disappointing. I have traded him out.

I was going to bring Cotric this week but I think I’ll hold off and give it another week to see if he’s named for origin and how he scores. Sort of somewhat happy with my cows for now and that’s who I would have to trade if I wanted him. Or Xerri

Exactly what I'm doing.. Moving Lomax into the centres. Thinking Morgan to Moses also, but not completely sold yet. The centres have really dried up lately, and Cotric is only a WFB.

Anyway..... anyone looking at Ma'u?.... He burned me good last season but I don't hold a grudge

Not convinced of his minutes once players are back from injury. Edges look sewn up by their current 80min lads, so that leaves a logjam for middle minutes when the likes of Brwn & Moeroa return... Actually, I have no idea where he even fits in when Brown is back and thats only a few weeks away. Prpb bench utility forward used to cover C. I dont like him.

Anyone thinks return of Moylan could effect Flanagan's place in the team?

I know Moylan was playing FB before injury but Dugan has indicated that he is liking the consistency of playing the same role day in day out. Is he playing well enough for him to keep the Fullback role?

Sharks play the last round and my back up half option Ponga would have already played by then.

I'm just happy I had the bank to get someone useful on for Capewell. Would have pissed me off if I was short on funds

On Origin, Murray will definitely play, barring injury. You can bank on it. I also hope the NSW halves are Cleary (no way Fittler drops him after last year) and Reynolds. Gives NSW heaps of last tackle options on both sides of the field. Origins are won on repeat sets and that’s what Reyno excels at. We’ll see.

    PS. Fuck the Broncos.

I don't know much about league, but some OZ blokes on NZ radio made a pretty good case that one spot will be between Reynolds and Clearly, and the other spot between Keary and Walker.

Im thinking the will roll with Cleary Keary
