    (1) a ball carrier gets smashed so hard in a tackle, he's stunned, gets up & plays the ball to the opposition. This happens very rarely but when I was young watching my club Glenora at Carlaw Park this did happen & the whole of Carlaw Park all burst out laughing at the same time. Good times at Carlaw Park every week & their hotdogs were awesome.
    (2) a defender goes in to smash the opposition ball runner & gets knocked out himself. We saw this last night with JFH & you could see on his face as he walked off the field how stunned & embarrassed he looked & wondering how it all went wrong.

Fuck me Carlaw Park now that's a blast from the past. What a fall from grace that poor ground had.

According to late mail with Arrow out, Titans are lining up with Stockwell prop and Fotuaika lock, hence Cartwright and Whitbread are as before at 2RF and bench

AFB is great value but I think everyone is spooked by his injury/judiciary issues.

I am max trading for 12, including sideways/backwards, then doing it all again for 16. 4 trades left for the run home I’d say.

I just can’t help not trading for bye points over the years. Injury runs have been kind at the end of the last few seasons, so hopefully that continues.

No because the best laid plans can go awry with just one injury. McInnes and RTS the prime trade-in targets and little beyond that.

Wowers 4 trades from 17 onwards? Ballsy.

Might bank a trade to keep Arrow and just play Dearden, any idea how bad Arrows injury is?

At the moment I have for R16 (5)
    Fifita
    Haas*
    Lomax#
    Nikora
    Tedesco*
    Ponga*
    Dearden#
    Xerri#
    * = origin
    # = Upgrades after R16.

of my R12 players these will more than likely be turned into a R16 player/Gun.
    Rein
    CNK
    Tolman**
    Young
    Sivo
    Martin
    Brown
** = possible keeper pending trades
I have 16 trades remaining. Along with the R16 players I am looking to upgrade (3) I have 10 players all together I am looking at moving on for the rest of the year. Players I am looking at for my final 17 are:
    Cook
    Fifita Haas
    Jurbo Murray Tolo
    Arey Cleary
    Bateman Nikora
    Teddy RTS/Turbo Ponga

    CS9/Farah JFH SST/Taupau/Twal Looper
    Rymat/Surgess Crichton/Munster NPR NPR

Players in bold are ones I do not yet own. SST/Taupau/Twal is to provide DPP on my bench. Position 18 and 19 are my Boom/Bust players who I will do the Tom Foolery with. With this I can see 10 players I need to bring in so theoretically that means 10 trades. My bank of 578K will allow me to take some jumps between some players (i.e Lomax>RTS/Turbo or Dearden>Munster). As Martin doesn't look like he will be a big cash maker I may look to move him on to a R16 basement player who will eventually become an NPR. Between R12 and R16 I will attempt to bring in my R16 players who don't play origin first and also move players like Brown/Martin to R16 players who will become NPR's, so that is Rymat, Twal/SST, CS9/Farah, Bateman. I can move Tolman, Rein, Sivo, CNK to these players mostly with just the one trade. This will give me 11 players for R16 and 10 trades remaining after origin. I should have a decent bank also with the NPR downgrades, as I am looking at having 3 NPR's I will also get a nice cash boost after origin when grabbing my 3rd NPR. So that leaves me 10 trades left after origin for 4 players (RTS/Turbo, Jurbo, NPR, Crichton/Munster) with an extra 6 trades to deal with injuries or getting any extra players/POD's I need for the run home.

Please let me know if my line of thinking is correct or if I am missing something.

It's a hard call holding. I reckon he doesn't back up a lot or his minutes drop over the whole period when he does play.

Especially if they find a decent replacement at lock over Origin, Garth may be tempted to run Arrow for 50 minutes instead of 70 and play another lock. Chances of this increase the more losses they pile up also.

Guess I'm going Arrow to Taupau so I have 2RF cover. As much as I want Farah it's probably not worth the risk..
